from the free monthly tango @ spitalfields events (sadly finished for 2010).
lots of people having lots of fun dancing and making it look much easier than it is (if my one attempt at the tango is anything to go by).

The Space event is an initiative of (CODEF) - a youth led organisation that facilitates youth capacity building. It is an international platform convened by young people designed and anchored on four Bays (Activities) that run parallel to each other to provide solutions and opportunities for growth and thought process to current and future challenges.
This partnership saw young audiences gain knowledge and actively participate in the World Food Day theme for 2015, Social protection and Agriculture: Breaking the cycle of rural poverty.
FAO Representative in Zimbabwe Mr David Phiri chaired one of the panel discussion hosted by FAO and was joined by the EU Ambassador to Zimbabwe Philippe Van Damme and Agriculture, Mechanisation and Irrigation Development Minister Paddy Zhanda.
FAO Exhibition space provided a platform for young people to interact the organisation’s experts while the Game Changers Bay housed panel discussions sessions on various key developmental issues.

The recently completed Care Partners Assisted Living consists of a 14,000 square foot, 20-room memory care facility and a separate, 26,000 square foot, 36-room Community Based Residential Facility. All suites are fully furnished and feature private, full bathrooms with standing showers. Both buildings feature a sun room, kitchen, salon, activity room, laundry room, living and dining room. The community based residential facility will also have a library for the residents to enjoy.
The facility is located at County Road JJ and French Road in Appleton, WI
Curtis Schroeder, from Consolidated Construction, was the architect of record and Dean Dequaine is the project manager. Curt Bricco was the jobsite superintendent.
Care Partners, based in Oshkosh, currently operates 23 Care Partners Assisted Living and 18 Country Terrace of Wisconsin facilities throughout the state. Consolidated Construction was chosen by the building owner, French Quarter Properties, LLC to design and build the Care Partners of Appleton.

On the first day of presentations, nine of the 16 emerging leaders took to the podium to present their Action Plans – unique projects and programs they had been preparing for three weeks while at their mentoring sites. The women were joined by their mentors and others partners from their organizations. The Action Plans ranged from new foundations to physical fitness and disability sport programs to community-centered initiatives. Afterwards, the Emerging Leaders relaxed at Cosmic, a restaurant with pizza and pingpong.
