On May 12, 2016, we gathered with our partners for our annual Foster Youth grantee and stakeholder convening. The meeting was held at the Japanese-American National Museum in downtown Los Angeles.

First Nations representatives, local mayors from the Cowichan Valley and VIU officials infront of a carved paddle signifying various groups working together for the benefit of students.
After arriving in Rosario, we went straight to work with GSMP 2013 emerging leader Luz Amuchastegui and the staff at El Desafio Foundation. The day was full of activities, including games facilitated by Drs. Hillyer and Huffman at the local park, conversations with volunteers participants, and Saatchi & Saatchi mentors at the foundation's location, and a debrief with Luz and executive director Mario Raimondi in the evening.
