This is the first attempt at the supermoon, while it was already in partial eclipse. I didn't get a chance to adjust my exposure for another shot because the clouds quickly devoured it. Even though the moon was overexposed, I like how the clouds turned out.
For some reason I feel attached to this event so please excuse me for posting yet another shot, and I have a feeling this may not be the last :)

这是月全食刚刚开始，地球已经把月亮遮住了一小半。还没机会拍更多就被厚厚的云吞没了。一个小时以后才有机会拍到红色月全食。

The cloud cover was pretty heavy.
When I got glimpses of the sun, I took the shot.
The clouds were moving very quickly at times.
This felt like an art challenge more than an eclipse challenge.

8 consecutive shots stacked in two rows: 5 overexposed (1,6s each) and 3 underexposed (1/25s each), 5EV interval, ISO 100. Nikon D600 full spectrum Tamrom SP 500, guided StarTracker.
A little cloudy on the evening of the July 16th partial lunar eclipse from Santiago de Compostela. But amongst the wandering clouds, there's always an oportunity if you wait for it and get ready...

It was a wonderful warm summer night to walk around downtown Roseville. I was happy to see so many vintage neon signs in a place I had never been before. It made the evening a little more 3D to hear the sounds in the distance of a live band playing Journey echoing through the streets. They were so good at what they do, it left me wondering if it was real...
