City of Cincinnati will celebrate the official grand opening of Mahogany’s on The Banks with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday afternoon to welcome a new addition to The Banks development along Cincinnati’s riverfront.
Mahogany’s at The Banks, the second location for Co-owner and Executive Chef Liz Rogers offers southern cuisine with over four generations of homemade family recipes from friend chicken and waffles, to deep dish southern-style peach cobbler.
The new restaurant represents a total investment of over $1 million and has created roughly 54 new full and part time jobs.
The job/internship fair was held in Insalaco Hall on 3/16/16 from 12-3. This was an excellent opportunity to explore full-time and part-time jobs and internships with some of our region's best employers, as well as some opportunities outside of our local area. Even if the students are not immediately looking for a job or internship, it's never too early to start networking!!

Kim: [HUGS Tiffany and Gary at the same time.] what have you guys been up to? please ignore my Dad, i’m sorry.
Tiffany: oh my god, this is a mall that we usually don’t bump into anyone we know.
Kim: i love the both of you together. you guys are perfect for one another. i’ll see you both at Marymount!

Robert Kan: MEI MEI! (angry) WHO WAS THAT? WHY WERE THOSE TWO HOLDING HANDS HUH?
Kim: i dunno Dad, I didn’t see anything. were they holding hands?
Robert Kan: ARE THOSE YOUR FRIENDS? HOW DO YOU KNOW THEM?
Kim: They go to Marymount with me, Dad. It’s ok. We’re all friends.
Robert Kan: NO! YOU ARE NOT TO DO THAT. I DON’T WANT YOU TO BE FRIENDS WITH THAT GIRL IF SHE’S DATING HIM. SHE’S NOT A GOOD INFLUENCE.
Kim: mhmm, ok dad. (angry, tired, and sad)
[Goes to her apartment and calls Bronson.]
Kim: [starts crying] we’re never going to be able to be together, we’ll never be able to get married. My Dad will completely disown me and then i’ll be cut off. I will have no money and everyone in the Chinese community will not talk to me ever again.
Bronson: i know baby. it’s going to be ok. only our friends know about what’s going on. and my parents are cool with you. we’re still studying. i’m working part time and you taught me how to save my money.
Kim: right, i’m glad the both of us are studying. continue saving your money. i just finished my other part time job. my parents are paying for all my stuff right now. i may start another part time job, if i want to. you know, i’ve always been a good saver (since I was in Kindergarten). Something my Popo (ISFJ Pakistani Chinese American), who barely finished 6th grade taught me. My Mom (INTJ Pakistani Chinese American) also taught me to save my money. the both of us are frugal.
Bronson: right, thank you for teaching me to be more frugal.
Kim: Uncle James (INFJ Pakistani Chinese American) and Aunty Leeshung (ISFJ Bombay Chinese Canadian American) have a small Townhouse. He works his butt off and saves a lot. He’s always been cheap, frugal, and doesn’t care too much for things. He mostly likes food, his wife (when she keeps her mouth shut and doesn’t give him too much attitude), and son (INTP Nathan Chang). He would like his daughter, Kristina (INTP Chinese Laotian American) more if she followed his directions, closed her legs, and stopped giving her boyfriends money.
[Notes] I love seeing Tiffany and Gary together. Gary is smart, handsome, and kind. He loves Tiffany so much. She is beautiful, serious, well off, and semi kind (boundaries). They enjoy having sex with one another, eating Krispy Kreme donuts, and Clubbin’ with Gary’s Dad and Step Mom. Being with them is peaceful. There’s a chill vibe to their relationship.
Third Recreation. #3 is for the three pay checks that I received from my new part time job right before the stay at home order went into effect. The three towels represent taking a shower in anticipation of going back out to work.
The economy is bad and so it wouldn't surprise you that all kinds of people have to go out and get a part time job to make ends meet.......

Bhanu has a part time job working at the Apple Store in Burlingame, so I just had to get mine from him!
She's one of the kids at my preschool that I have a part time job at. I spend the end of my day usually with this little cute one. Very talkative and loud, but her cuteness and sweetness makes up for it.
My host family is incredibly kind, and I feel very blessed to be living in their home. My mother is a very hard worker who has a part-time job, and also makes me a school lunch everyday. And her friends are really fun people to hang out with. We went to a breath-taking buddhist temple in one of the surrounding mountains. I bought good luck charms which are similair to the ones placed around my host family's home. I also bought a fortune, which read that my future will be full of joy, it's a good time to travel, and that I would have excellent college teachers. Then we continued walking all the way to the top (How do old people walk up it? Even my host mom had to stop for breath.), and I rung a long straw rope that rung a bell. It felt like my heart opened with a big "whoosh."
On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, the career center hosted a Part-Time Job Fair. Employers presented job opportunities, internships, and education experiences to Ramapo students that attended.

Earlier this year I decided to sponsor a child with Compassion. At the time I knew it was a big commitment but I also had reason to believe I would soon be getting many more hours at my part time job (yeah I am still in high school). Now, it doesn't seem like I will ever be getting those hours so I am getting a bit short on money.
POINT IS I can no longer continue my sponsorship of Sasa. I am praying that someone out there in the big world of Flickr will see this photo of this adorable girl and choose to continue her sponsorship in place of me. I really do not want to cancel her sponsorship unless I am able to find someone to take my place.

72/366 12th March Last Day !! After 20 years in the Bridport Tourist Information office my sister Mandy retires today, not a lot of work going on this morning just practising her new part time job as child minder to great niece Florence. Enjoy your retirement Mandy.
The spread of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 caused a lot of destruction. We saw almost everything. From unemployment to food scarcity. Lots of virus-related deaths to miserable suicides. People going from Part-Time Home-Based home to homeless. Losing family to friends. We witnessed so many disheartening happenings last year. Meanwhile, part-time home-based jobs popularised. Indeed, these work-from-home jobs were probably the only good thing that happened to mankind in 2020.
Before the arrival of the deadly covid-19, no one in India really thought about part-time home-based jobs. Work from home was something very alien to us.
Therefore, things like
Taking tuitions,
Starting an art class,
Opening a shop at your own house, and,
Tailoring clothes
were the only part-time jobs at home that we probably knew about.
But as they say, need is the foundation of all discoveries. Likewise, lack of money and a hungry stomach made people go on an expedition to find more part-time jobs without investment in India

Felt like hideing behind my camera today, I think this came out ok. Sorry about yesterday, I was going through a financial catastrophy that was hard to swallow. I don't understand, I work like 56 hours a week, fairly decent pay, my wife has a good job with great pay and still we can't keep our head above water. I need to find a part time job, but when can I work said 2nd job, all I do now is work and sleep, but I guess it is like they say, you can sleep when you are dead. Oh well.

Mei Mei: but dad, people like it when you’re well rounded. getting a job looks good on your resume. i want to learn how to make money on my own. all my friends have part time jobs already.
Dad: yea yea yea, your Mom and I work hard enough for you and you have money. you don’t need to work, you need to STUDY! and become something. we need you to take over your mother’s office. i need Keith (INTJ Pakistani Chinese Canadian) to work at the office too. i want the both of you to work upstairs, while your mom works on the bottom floor. let me see what i can do. if you work, you will work for a man or woman of my choosing.

Dad: ok beta. You know the TK Thai boss. we already eat there so many times. he’s agreed to let you work for him on Friday nights and weekends. He may need you during weekdays, here and there but he’s ok with you saying no to those times if you’re very busy with exams and homework. he’ll pay you cash daily or weekly.
Mei Mei: WOW! ok great.
Dad: yea, i trust this man. he’s all about his work and none of that other bullshit. his wife (ISFJ Thai Chinese American) and son (INTP Thai Chinese American) are always there too. he’s just like your uncle james. sticks to making money and his family.

Dad: he said all black. wear black pants and black long sleeve dress shirt. i will buy you some comfortable black working shoes if you need it. make sure you tie your hair up.
