After growing up with Universal Studios, I was jaded to backlots until I visited Paramount Pictures. This lot is small, but stunning in its detail. The buildings are unique and look real from many angles. The architecture is not specific and quite varied, but those details just slayed me. Even the cracks in the sidewalk were planned by an art director. I stayed far too long, but adored the Paramount Pictures backlot.

Oakland, CA - September 2007. We took a wrong turn and discovered this gem by accident. What good luck!
Just a quick, rough edit from a shoot we did last Sunday with a band called Paramount. The idea was to emulate an awkward family photo, which was so fun to shoot.

1988 Schwinn Paramount, converted for some light gear hauling and rides with my family. I know, I've turned a "race bike" into a bit of a bastard! 28C with a sprung saddle.... Sorry purists! Rides like a dream in it's current form.
Six cycles on worm gear, 220 samples shows a PE of around 3.7 arc seconds. A quick PEC correction using Pempro got this down to around 1.6 arc seconds. Seeing was not very good, and data sample could be a bit longer. I will see if this can be improved a bit for the exercise of it, but I am more then happy with it as is.
