Paramount 2007/2009

I took these shots int he balcony at the Paramount Theater in Austin during the Summer Movie series. We were waiting for "I Walked with a Zombie", which was much better than the title would lead you to believe.

And the New camera did say.......go get nice pics. This is a very famous dance hall in Shanghai.

The Paramount Theater opened on February 21, 1931, with a Carol Lombard movie Over the years it also featured live performances by such stars as Tex Ritter and Tommy Dorsey. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985

I was just tickled to actually see a real soundstage. I was walking down this street trying to take a picture of the Hollywood sign with my cheap little camera but it was too far away so I started snapping pics if the buildings...
