My road bike set up with aero bars, Road Morph bike pump, handlebar bag (which seriously needs a better mounting), and Carousel Design Works tail bag.
In the bags is my touring packing list , more or less. All the camping gear and clothing go in the rear and the electronics, tools, and lock go in the front.
Ready to go on holiday the USA requires packing everybody and everything into the car ready to go to the airport.
Littlies need to be strapped into the car safely. All the luggage in the big boot (trunk). And away we go.
5.22.10,
12 hour day. Went to the parents house after work to say goodbye and came home and started packing for L.A.! Going for a week and staying with a friend. The worst part is leaving my dogs when I go on a trip, well not anymore. I'm going to pack them! Taylor is getting 'fitted' in this picture. It might be a little tight in there with Gizmo too, but I'm sure they'll be fine.
You can see Danbo and Mr. Roboto trying to get in too. I'm definitely getting charged for a heavy bag. Oh well, it'll be worth it.
I really wanted to take a small bag since I'm not packing a lot but I need my biggest one to carry my damn tripod, that sucks. :( This will be the last picture until I get home on Saturday for my 365s so you'll have to find something else to lust over while I'm gone. lol
BTW, 1,206 views on my Flickr yesterday!!! Most ever!

Arte is going to be going home soon. She has been so wonderful and sweet, we don't want her to leave. But she did find this sweet little pony to keep her company along the way. We love you Arte and Gaby !

ODC - 10/18/2019 - Getting Ready
A lot of liquor boxes for a Southern Baptist church lady!
They make excellent packing boxes, especially for delicate crystal, and the liquor stores are glad to get rid of them!
CEA were employed to pack and lash 77 units of Mud Skips, Cargo Baskets and Gas Racks into 14, 40ft HC containers, the cargo received was too wide to fit in to the containers in the conventional way and would have to be turned on its side. CEA would ready the containers for load out and transport them to port where the cargo would be shipped to Nigeria to be used in the offshore Oil & Gas sector.
PROCEDURE
Two wooden beams were placed on the floor in each of the containers, the cargo, on its side would be placed on these to ensure no damage occurred to the panels during loading, transportation and unloading. Lifting slings that would be used upon arrival in Nigeria were attached to each piece of cargo before packing.
A CEA reach stacker lifted each of the containers and placed them on to their sides upon wooden blocks. CEA fabricated specialised roller units to facilitate the loading, two units were placed underneath the front section to support the cargo while being loaded by forklift from the rear.
Mantiou 3.5 t forklift’s and 5 t pallet trucks loaded the cargo into the containers, both fork lifts and pallet trucks were covered with protective materials to prevent any damage to the cargo.
After all Mud Skips, Cargo Baskets and Gas Racks were loaded the CEA team lashed and secured them in place. Wooden chocks and stoppers were installed to further ensure no movement while transportation and shipping.
All necessary supporting documents were provided inside each container. A third party inspection team checked all loaded cargo and sealed the containers with the appropriate shipping tags. The containers were loaded on to flatbed trailers and transported to port to await shipping.

who says that packing and and pms means you have to look sub par?

I swear by the bundled method. It keeps my clothes from wrinkling, makes efficient use of space and stuff doesn't shift around. We each had one 22" expandable roller board that happened to match (because bought at Target when on sale). We also each bought a 16" rolling carry-on which made airport negotiation a lot easier. My mother got her knock-off Polo one from Singapore for $50 and I picked up a no name knock off in Khao San Road, the backpacker's part of town in BKK, for $30.
