Our own encounter at DT-2 ended in more blood spilled. After the trooper suicided, thinking the coast was clear, we turned our attention to signaling any other survivors on the ship. We received contact from the Commander that the infected crew had made their way to them and needed support as a result of it. We knew though another quick mistake would end all of us. I suggested to Commander Lazvis he and his men make their way to the armory. Before a response could be received, the supposedly dead trooper rose up and started to attack us. Should have cut off his head. I told the troops our best course of action was to meet at the suggested location in hopes some would make it as well. As I expected, the commander and a small group made their way to us. While the injured were being attended to, we planned our next course of action. It was critical to get a message out to Imperial High Command and the only way that was possible was to jumpstart the reactor so we could have enough power. So we divided everyone into two groups, one for turning on the reactor and the other to send out the message.

This object is found within our own galaxy, located some 5,200 light-years from Earth in the constellation Sagittarius. This means that the best time of year to observe M8 is during the months of July to August. The common name of NGC6523 is the Lagoon Nebula, as its shape and appearance resembles that of a pond of a star-forming interstellar cloud and gas. The Lagoon Nebula, M8, was discovered in 1654 by the Italian astronomer Giovanni Battista Hodierna, who, like Charles Messier, sought to catalog nebulous objects in the night sky so they would not be mistaken for comets. Its apparent magnitude, brightness, of 6 makes it faintly visible to the naked eye in dark skies.

Nature is random yet ordered in its own way.
The stars are still there even when we can’t see them.
As happens so very often, the sun and the clouds have ideas contrary to ours.
And the trains seldom appear when we want them to.
The Trifecta of Discontent once again.
Yet, the evening was magical, and reserved only for those who showed up for it---
The gentle breezes cooling the hot afternoon to the distant boom of thunder---
Lightning bolts crackling across the sky as storm clouds unleashed their fury upon the land---
A land not quite desert---
Not quite plains---
But New Mexico fully.
The Universe, in all its immense beauty, gave us what it wanted too, forcing us to react with but a few moments notice.
There was an ethereal glow in the clouds and a mechanical rumble on the wind as the train rounded the gentle curve and drifted downgrade, its form in perfect silhouette, the blue of evening but a sliver above the railhead as the big GEs guided their charges eastward, slack bunched in on the drawbar as it headed for the Canadian River and the steel High Bridge that spanned its trickle.
The light had died for the sought-after image, and there was an unwillingness to hurry back out into the brush in an attempt to salvage it. Denim and wool socks are easily penetrated by venom-bearing fangs.
So, there in that moment, on the rain dampened blacktop, we made our stand---
A simple composition that is a few thousand exposures old would have to suffice.
We would harbor no discontent.

The garden at Sissinghurst Castle in the Weald of Kent, in England at Sissinghurst village, is owned and maintained by the National Trust. It is among the most famous gardens in England and is grade I listed.
Sissinghurst's garden was created in the 1930s by Vita Sackville-West, poet and gardening writer, and her husband Harold Nicolson, author and diplomat. Sackville-West was a writer on the fringes of the Bloomsbury Group who found her greatest popularity in the weekly columns she contributed as gardening correspondent of The Observer, which incidentally—for she never touted it—made her own garden famous. The garden itself is designed as a series of 'rooms', each with a different character of colour and/or theme, the walls being high clipped hedges and many pink brick walls. The rooms and 'doors' are so arranged that, as one enjoys the beauty in a given room, one suddenly discovers a new vista into another part of the garden, making a walk a series of discoveries that keeps leading one into yet another area of the garden. Nicolson spent his efforts coming up with interesting new interconnections, while Sackville-West focused on making the flowers in the interior of each room exciting.
For Sackville-West, Sissinghurst and its garden rooms came to be a poignant and romantic substitute for Knole, reputedly the largest house in Britain, which as the only child of Lionel, the 3rd Lord Sackville she would have inherited had she been a male, but which had passed to her cousin as the male heir.
The site is ancient; "hurst" is the Saxon term for an enclosed wood. A manor house with a three-armed moat was built here in the Middle Ages. In 1305, King Edward I spent a night here. It was long thought that in 1490 Thomas Baker, a man from Cranbrook, purchased Sissinghurst, although there is no evidence for it. What is certain is that the house was given a new brick gatehouse in the 1530s by Sir John Baker, one of Henry VIII's Privy Councillors, and greatly enlarged in the 1560s by his son Sir Richard Baker, when it became the centre of a 700-acre (2.8 km2) deer park. In August 1573 Queen Elizabeth I spent three nights at Sissinghurst.
After the collapse of the Baker family in the late 17th century, the building had many uses: as a prisoner-of-war camp during the Seven Years' War; as the workhouse for the Cranbrook Union; after which it became homes for farm labourers.
Sackville-West and Nicolson found Sissinghurst in 1930 after concern that their property Long Barn, near Sevenoaks, Kent, was close to development over which they had no control. Although Sissinghurst was derelict, they purchased the ruins and the farm around it and began constructing the garden we know today. The layout by Nicolson and planting by Sackville-West were both strongly influenced by the gardens of Gertrude Jekyll and Edwin Lutyens; by the earlier Cothay Manor in Somerset, laid out by Nicolson's friend Reginald Cooper, and described by one garden writer as the "Sissinghurst of the West Country"; and by Hidcote Manor Garden, designed and owned by Lawrence Johnston, which Sackville-West helped to preserve. Sissinghurst was first opened to the public in 1938.
The National Trust took over the whole of Sissinghurst, its garden, farm and buildings, in 1967. The garden epitomises the English garden of the mid-20th century. It is now very popular and can be crowded in peak holiday periods. In 2009, BBC Four broadcast an eight-part television documentary series called Sissinghurst, describing the house and garden and the attempts by Adam Nicolson and his wife Sarah Raven, who are 'Resident Donors', to restore a form of traditional Wealden agriculture to the Castle Farm. Their plan is to use the land to grow ingredients for lunches in the Sissinghurst restaurant. A local newspaper published one of my rooster pictures, without asking, without paying and stating this was their "own photo".
I wrote a letter, sent a bill and the picture was payed for so all ended well!

Inderdaad een echte Krimpense haan.
William woonde in onze tuin en ik maakte deze foto een jaar geleden.
Ik zou het leuk gevonden hebben als de krant mij om toestemming had gevraagd, dit is niet netjes, en de vermelding 'eigen foto" is gewoon frauduleus.
Ik schreef een briefje, en zond een rekening, de rekening werd betaald, dus alles is inmiddels helemaal in orde!
Op het internet vond ik veel informatie over dit soort misbruik, ook voorbeeld-brieven om betaling achteraf te vragen, te beginnen met een schikking.

ORIGINS: The Royal Monastery of San Juan de la Peña located in Botaya, southwest of Jaca, Huesca, Aragon (Spain), was the most important monastery in Aragon in the High Middle Ages.
A good number of kings of Aragon were buried in its Royal Pantheon.
It is part of the Aragonese Way of St. James.
Its location is extremely unique.
Legend has it that a young nobleman named Voto (in some versions, Oto), was hunting in these parts when he saw a deer.
The hunter ran after the prey, but it fled and when he reached Mount Pano, he fell off the cliff.
Miraculously, his horse landed safely.
Safe and sound at the bottom of the ravine, he saw a small cave in which he discovered a hermitage dedicated to Saint John the Baptist and, inside, he found the corpse of a hermit named Juan de Atarés.
Impressed by the discovery, he went to Zaragoza, sold all his possessions with his brother Felix, retired to the cave and began a hermit life.
THE HOLY GRAIL: According to the Spanish legend about the Holy Grail, it remained in the monastery, after passing through various locations such as the cave of Yebra de Basa, the monastery of San Pedro de Siresa, the church of San Adrián de Sásabe, San Pedro del Real Sitio de Bailo, the Cathedral of Jaca, from 1071 to 1399.
The need to attract pilgrims to Santiago who passed by the nearby road from Jaca to the monastery advised that the relic be located there.
In 1399, King Martin I took the sacred vessel to the Aljafería palace in Zaragoza, where it remained for more than twenty years, after a brief stay in Barcelona, accompanying the king and later transferred to the Cathedral of Valencia.
The first place in Spain where it was celebrated with the Roman Christian rite was in the Kingdom of Aragon in this monastery of San Juan de la Peña, on March 22, 1071, during the stay of the Holy Grail in the monastery and then it was made official in the rest of the kingdom, replacing the Mozarabic Christian rite. ORÍGENES: El Real Monasterio de San Juan de la Peña situado en Botaya, al suroeste de Jaca, Huesca, Aragón (España), fue el monasterio más importante de Aragón en la Alta Edad Media.
En su Panteón Real fueron enterrados un buen número de reyes de Aragón.
Forma parte del Camino de Santiago aragonés.
Su emplazamiento es sumamente singular.
Cuenta la leyenda que un joven noble llamado Voto (en algunas versiones, Oto), venía de caza por estos parajes cuando avistó un ciervo.
El cazador corrió tras la presa, pero esta huía y al llegar al monte Pano, se cayó por el precipicio.
Milagrosamente, su caballo aterrizó sin problemas.

EL SANTO GRIAL: Según la leyenda española sobre el Santo Grial, éste permaneció en el monasterio, tras pasar por diversas localizaciones como la cueva de Yebra de Basa, el monasterio de San Pedro de Siresa, la iglesia de San Adrián de Sásabe, San Pedro del Real Sitio de Bailo, la Catedral de Jaca, desde 1071 hasta 1399.
La necesidad de atraer a los peregrinos a Santiago que pasaban por el cercano camino de Jaca al monasterio aconsejó que la reliquia se ubicara allí.
En 1399 el rey Martín I llevó el vaso sagrado al palacio de la Aljafería de Zaragoza, donde permaneció más de veinte años, tras una breve estancia en Barcelona, acompañando al rey y posteriormente trasladado a la Catedral de Valencia.
El primer lugar de España donde se celebra con rito cristiano romano es en el Reino de Aragón en este monasterio de San Juan de la Peña, el 22 de marzo de 1071, durante la estancia del Santo Grial en el monasterio y después se oficializa en el resto del reino, sustituyendo al rito cristiano mozárabe.
