Inside the Leith Tram Works. This is my second visit to this abandoned and derelict building in Leith and it is just being allowed to decay into nothing, which is horrible. Much more of it has been demolished since I was last there.

Miranda falls asleep on Grandad Brian.

Stink Bug hanging out on stereo speaker was lit by a single speedlight on an RSS B-series bracket. The SB-900 was zoomed all the way in and triggered by an SC-28 cord in TTL mode at -2 EV (Hanging out_2747 8x10).

Two bridges are seen here the rail and road. As the Minamurra River wends its way out to the ocean.

I really wanted to get out shooting today, but unfortunately its raining. Not sunny interesting rain either.

So I thought i'd take some more macros of flowers. I guess I'll get bored of these at some point, eh. I love sunflowers, though.

about to make a run for it.

Salt Creek Backpack Day 1: Jason and I originally planned this as an out and back trip. We had secured the required permits to camp at SC1 (night 1), SC3 (night 2), and then back to SC2 (night 3). At the last minute, Lisa was able to join us. We met up in Moab and drove to the Needles District back country desk where we lucked out and were able to exchange our SC2 permit (night 3) for a Salt/Horse Zone permit. With 2 vehicles, we could now do this as a through hike- perfect! The weather was looking pretty turbulent and it was possible we'd have problems getting our shuttle vehicle back out on the last day... but we went for it. We dropped our truck off at the exit point and loaded our gear into Lisa's Subaru. An hour later we were at Cathedral Butte TH.

The hike into SC1 is short (GPS tracked us at just over 4.5 miles). After a knee pounding descent from Cathedral Butte, we were in Salt Creek Canyon- home for the next 3 nights. We lucked out and no one was camped at nearby SC2, so we had the southern section of the canyon to ourselves. We set up camp in the last bit of light and settled in for a beautiful night at camp- perhaps the quietest conditions I have found anywhere.

Four day backpack down Salt Creek Canyon in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park: This was a big bucket list backpack for me. After some last minute changes due to the health of a close family member and some luck with the permitting system, we were able to pull this off as a through hike with our good friend Lisa. We spent 4 magical days in the canyon and lucked out with plenty of water and better weather than expected. Including side trips to ruins, rock art, and arches, we covered 35 miles and saw very few people. Life is good.

Since I am living out of the city I have seen many great things (but that doesn't mean I don't want to go back to the city ¬¬)

One of the greatest things I see here are Bunnies =) wild and free bunnies everywhere

and from my window I can see where they live..

The first days I start to live here I listen some noise outside from my window.. I wasn't know what it was.. but with some days and curiosity I found them

and then I see them.. beautiful babies (only I can see them in the evening)..

and well.. many times I try to take a picture.. but always something went wrong.. my camera was bad or the dog start to bark.. or they just run too much faster

but finally I catch one =)

a beautiful one.. is baby.. maybe no more than 20 cm.. the bigger I have seen here are like 40 cm so so

And well.. I love wild animals.. I love them as pet too..

but I love to feel the noise out of my window.. because I feel like is so much life in there.. and so much poo too haha

Too many time without say this.. and here I go!

REMEMBER TO TAKE CARE OF ANIMALS AND NATURE!!

WE MUST PROTECT ANIMALS AND NATURE, BECAUSE THEY ARE THE HEART OF THE PLANET

AND WITHOUT A HEART.. HOW CAN WE LIVE?

ALL ANIMALS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND ALL OF THEM HAVE A SOUL =)

THEY NEED US.. AND WE NEED OF THEM..

peace out!

Close-up from 'Romantic Ireland: From The Streets' street art exhibition hung on St. Patrick's Day at the planned headquarters of Anglo Irish Bank, on North Wall Quay in Dublin. It reproduces line-by-line the poem 'September 1913' by William Butler Yeats about the 1913 strike and lock-out of transport union workers. The panels were created for free by different artists and hung on the hoarding of the building, now owned by NAMA, on 17th March 2012.

The HSBC bank in Loughborough was severely damaged by a fire on 15 March 2023. The fire was caused by an electrical fault.

The building was designed by the Leicester architects Goddard, Paget and Goddard for the Leicestershire Banking Company, and was built by Moss of Loughborough in about 1893.

Bodie, Ca. A ghost town and California State Park. A town of 10,000 needed many out houses and quite a few are still standing - sort of.

Taking a walk down the real life Candy Cane Lane! This was around the Sunset Glen Christmas Display around South San Jose, CA, particularly around the Hidden Glen South area. I took a spontaneous drive to this location and I am very impressed at how magically beautiful this block was decorated! Each house has its own theme and design while the street trees were dazzling with lights. It’s truly a Christmas wonderland and in my opinion, beats Willow Glen (although Willow Glen is also nice, having multiple blocks spread out with lights and decor). It’s awesome how this neighborhood community comes together each year to pull off such an awesome display of Christmas cheer. This is a must-visit during the holiday season! I am adding this place to my annual ‘must-visit Christmas lights displays’ list for sure! Will definitely come back next year for more! Happy holidays, everyone! Drive safe out there… (Sunday evening, ‎December ‎29, ‎2024)

Breaking outside the Eastern State Prison

Three from this morning before the light changed. Alligator Farm's rookery needs air traffic control.

Do you know anyone who can help?

You both do the crime, you both do the time.

I blew that toilet up a few times
