Setting out from the town of Litochoro and making an ascent to the tops of Mount Olympus, after covering an 18 kilometre distance, we meet the old and historical Monastery of Saint Dionysios of Olympus in the heart of the mountain, at an elevation of 850 metres above sea level.

this is what you call and aggressive stance. i was assured that she doesnt actually like to bite, but she may throw her own poo, and there's always the possibility of her thinking i was a tree and trying to jump on me. it was at this point that i moved away and to the side.

I like the way this one turned out, because well, the first 4 attempts to photograph this with some other ideas all failed horribly, alcohol doesn't burn all that well, the butane torch ran out of fuel, alcohol let me down again, and one other experiment failed :(
So I found a bottle of teflon chain lube for my bike chain with a big "flammable" logo on it! BINGO! so I got this one by gently blowing on the flame to make it a bit bigger and irregular in its pattern
That and 5 frames per second helped me get this one too!

the cool is finally coming back,and i am

had enough extra time to shoot this tonight, but im off now,and i am going
to the renaissance fair all day tomorrow.
Sooooo... expect to see lots of photos before long of pirates and horses,and possibly drunken fools.

Another wacky self-portrait! It took a lot of tries to get the jump time right with the self timer of the waterproof Olympus µ790SW (I wouldn't risk this with any other camera, lets just say I displace quite a bit of water...) :-D
Out-of-cycle pub visit: when I last visited Kellys, in December, the first floor bar extension above the pie shop was just being fitted out. Now it is functional, more than doubling the size of the space.
When Janet moves out next year, the ground floor bar will be extended as well.
Maybe it will get a new colour scheme then. The existing on on the upper storeys is a remnant of when the building was a McDonalds.
