My streak of fish origami models continue. Despite the references of the model being easy to figure out, this one is fairly lengthy in terms of precreasing, which is unusual for most of my models.
I don't know why but when I take pictures, the subject always ends up looking rather chubby. But at least it's somewhat recognizable.

Kamiya´s models are usually very hard, but this one is quite easier in my opinion.

Here is the crease pattern for my recent "escape" model.
As you can see, the structure is a mix of box-pleating (for the creature arms), 22.5° lines (for the octagonal well), and a tessellation (Momotani's wall, for the well's bricks).
I do not suggest anyone to try this, but if you decide to do it, I'm not gonna stop you!

The paper I used here is one of the patterns from Zen Origami kit The model is not, though! I'm just using the paper to fold all the current stuff I'm working on. There are 40 sheets of each pattern and as I have already folded a 30 unit model from this particular one (haven't uploaded yet), I "can afford" now using the rest of the sheets for stars :)
