A Cleveland Indians fan tries to make his case with police officers near the bullpens at Progressive Field. The fan attracted police attention after he heckled Baltimore reliever Cesar Cabral as Cabral warmed up before entering the game in the eighth inning.
One of the officers explained to an observer that while many players and coaches don't complain about hecklers overlooking the bullpens, some, like the Orioles, do, and when that happens, police are required to remove the offender, even if his language is not offensive. The heckler was told he would have to watch the rest of the game from somewhere else in the ballpark.
The Indians won the game, 2-1.

In order to show school stuff work without overloading the book, I cut two pieces down to the most essential parts and then stapled them on one side over other schoolwork. I added lift tabs using ribbon and stickers.
Mission San Juan Capistrano was a Spanish mission in Southern California, located in present-day San Juan Capistrano. It was founded on All Saints Day November 1, 1776, by Spanish Catholics of the Franciscan Order. Named for Giovanni da Capistrano, a 15th century theologian and "warrior priest" who resided in the Abruzzo region of Italy, San Juan Capistrano has the distinction of being home to the oldest building in California still in use, a chapel built in 1782; known alternately as "Serra's Chapel" and "Father Serra's Church," it is the only extant structure where it has been documented that the padre Junipero Serra celebrated mass. One of the best known of the Alta California missions (and one of the few missions to have actually been founded twice—others being Mission San Gabriel Arcángel and Mission La Purísima Concepción)—the site was originally consecrated on October 30, 1775, by Father Fermín Lasuén, but was quickly abandoned due to unrest among the indigenous population in San Diego.

Spacious bar just opposite RMIT. It's 2 floors up with a rather unremarkable entrance. I must have walked past it hundreds of times without noticing! There's also a cosy rooftop bar as well, great for warm Summer evenings.
The basins in the toilets are rather fancy too! :)

Got the inspiration after seeing the blog posted by Evan's Kitchen Ramblings. This creation from Pierre Hermé's book -- Chocolate Desserts. Making the chocolate sheets proved to be quite tricky in our Singapore climate. The layers from bottom to top consists of hazelnut dacquoise sprinkled with hazelnut halves, hazelnut praline feuilletine, milk choc ganache, milk choc whipped cream and milk choc sheets.

This car and its sisters in the 450-460 series are noteworthy on several accounts.
Firstly, they were the last cars purchased by the "Roaring Elgin".
Secondly, they were the last classic conventional interurban cars built in the United States. Ordered in 1941 but with construction delayed by the war, they were built in 1945, after the Electroliner and only a few years before IT's streamliners, but their design hearkened to an earlier age. Only a sharp-eyed person could catch the difference between it and the CA&E's other steels built 20 years earlier. One of the differences, shared with the Electroliners and the 5000 and 6000 series "L" cars was a curved side to give it a roomier interior while still allowing it to fit the narrow clearances of the "L" 's high-level platforms.

The doors on this elevator look burned, and also a bit off the frame. Almost like the elevator was struck by lightning and came crashing back down to the lobby. Good thing they placed it out of order; we'll be much safer in the service elevators.
The Blue Angels remain in order even when parked. Seen at the 2021 Thunder Over Michigan Airshow, sponsored by the Yankee Air Museum.
