Beelitz Heilstätten was a lung sanatorium, built between 1898 and 1930 by the Berlin State Insurance Institution. It is one of the largest hospital complexes in the Berlin area and consists of an ensemble of 60 buildings on a total area of approximately 200 ha.
This image is from the house C of the sanatorium for men and is located south of the railroad station. Unfortunately, all buildings are nearly empty meanwhile.

Street food in Jaipur, India. Couldn't try it. It would have killed me. Thank you for looking. Always enjoy your comments, truly.
It's been an unusual and not particularly pleasing winter in the Northwoods, marked by too much cold and not enough snow, but yesterday the gods offered a perfect day for an extensive wander...which was fully utilized for that purpose. After finally receiving a fresh snowfall of about 6 inches and enduring a week of bitter cold, the morning sun and temps rising to around freezing made for ideal hiking conditions. Made even more irresistible by the forecast for freezing rain (which is happening as I write this) and a plunge back below 0F by tomorrow.
Ah, but yesterday was exhilarating, the scenes by now familiar, but always different nonetheless. The full tour of my peninsula was accomplished, concluding at this small pond which occupies the very tip before returning home. Beyond the far tree line, you can make out the big lake which surrounds 3/4 of the land area, my smaller lake the other 1/4. What you unfortunately cannot make out is the call of the chickadees which was the only sound heard throughout the course of the afternoon...a most pleasant accompaniment.
Well good morning to you! Here we have your order up and ready to go. Most of us have our favorite spots to start our day. Who doesn't love their friendly barista? This one goes out to those early risers who serve us those beverages we need to get our day going. I would be a walking zombie with bags under my eyes without my coffee. - Bliss

In order to create some kind of balance on the plates tonight, I made a colorful, and odd, "salad" to go with the main.
Namtso is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and significant for Tibetan Buddhists. Kora is a Tibetan word that means "circumambulation" or "revolution". Kora is both a type of pilgrimage and a type of meditative practice in the Tibetan Buddhism. Thus, Namtso Kora means pilgrimage walk around the Lake Namtso.
Namtso literally means heavenly lake in Tibetan language. Located around 240km northwest of Lhasa, capital of Tibet, it takes four hours’ driving from Lhasa. Extending 70 km from east to west and 30 km from south to north, the lake covers an area of 1,920 sq km and has an altitude of 4748 m above sea level. It is biggest lake in Tibet and the second biggest salt lake in China as well as one of the highest lakes in the world. The water in the lake is crystally clear and blue. The blue sky joins the surface of the lake in the distance, creating an integrated, scenic vista.
In every Tibetan year of sheep, thousands of Tibetan Buddhism believers will come here to worship this sacred lake. As a rule, they will walk clockwise along the Namtso Lake in order to receive the blessing of the gods.
There are several fine Tibet treks around the lake. The shortest one is roughly 4 kilometers and takes less than one hour. It starts from the accommodation area to a hermit’s cave hidden behind a large spinter of rock. The kora continues to a rocky promontory of cairns and prayer flags. At the promontory, pilgrims undertake a ritural washing in the lake. And then the trail continues past several caves and a prostration point where there are two rock towers looking like two hands. Pilgrims squeeze into the deep slices of the nearby cliff face as a means of sin detection or drink water dripping from cave roofs, even swallow holy dirt.
