Not all signs of spring are loud or dramatic. Some are quietly… well organized.
This fourth image from my walk in Parco Talenti caught my attention for its almost geometric rhythm: a row of trees standing in line, each one fully dressed in fresh green, as if they had collectively agreed that winter was officially over.
I liked the contrast between this sense of order and the more spontaneous scenes earlier in the walk. Even in nature, it seems, there’s room for both improvisation and structure.

Non tutti i segnali della primavera sono vistosi o teatrali. Alcuni sono semplicemente… ben organizzati.
Questa quarta immagine della passeggiata a Parco Talenti mi ha colpito per il suo ritmo quasi geometrico: una fila di alberi ordinati, tutti vestiti di un verde nuovo, come se avessero deciso insieme che l’inverno fosse ufficialmente finito.
Mi è piaciuto il contrasto tra questo senso di ordine e le scene più spontanee viste poco prima. Anche in natura, a quanto pare, c’è spazio sia per l’improvvisazione che per la struttura.

The painted stork (mycteria leucocephala) appears to be addressing the spot-billed pelicans (pelecanus philippensis). Yesterday was a Colossal FUBAR !
We had spent days preparing all
the necessary paperwork for
immigrations. It was the
one year check in ;0
I've done this for
over 20 years !
Anyway, the town we had to be at is
about 2 hours west so we left early
in order to be there at 8:AM. All
the paperwork was in perfect
order, until we got there ;0
The new building had new inspectors !
They all wanted to add their own rules.
Short version, around 4;PM we were
done & heading home exhausted !
Ok, now we can talk about the photo.
That's Baby Monkey and his guardian
Ms. Molly. She was always so soft and
gentle with the other dogs unless they
threatened baby monkey. Instantly she
would explode and go "Berserk" .....;0-
Ms. Molly was The Monkeys part time
mom and full-time guardian angel ;)-
On the way home yesterday, I was already
making plans to do a mud cobra field run
today. As darkness came upon us last-
nigh the monsoons started and did
not stop till just before daylight
this morning...... So, the MCF
run has been rescheduled.
Tomorrow's Friday so that might work.
If not, then Saturday but not Sunday
cuz Sunday the dog clinics closed.
Alright there ya go.

The Artanuji fortress was built in the 5th century by order of the Georgian king Vakhtang Gorgasali. In the 7th century, the city was destroyed by the Arabs. Around the year 820.Ashot I Kuropalat restored and rebuilt the city as the capital of the Georgian principality of Tao-Klarjeti. According to Georgian sources, Ashot "discovered a rock in the Klarjeti forest, where Vakhtang Gorgasal first erected a fortress named Artanuji. It was ravaged by Marwan II the Deaf from Baghdad. Ashot restored it and built a fortress again, and built a city in front of the fortress, at its foot."
Growing rich through trade along the Great Silk Road, located on the trade route from the Black Sea to Persia, Artanuji has become a major trade and craft center in the Middle East. A detailed description of the city in the 10th century was left by Konstantin Porphyrogenitus in his essay "On the Administration of the Empire." After the unification of Georgia in the 11th century, the capital moved to Kutaisi and later to Tbilisi, later the city became a provincial town on the outskirts, ruled by Eristava.
In 1551, Ardanuch was besieged and taken from the Atabegs of Djakeli by the troops of Suleiman the Magnificent.
To date, parts of the fence built on a huge rock, the remains of a church and a palace have been preserved on the territory of the fortress. The city of Ardanuch is located under the fortress.

A new public art exhibition is inviting commuters in Toronto’s busiest train station to slow down and reflect.
A Kind of Order is part of Union Station’s year-long commitment to promote BIPOC creatives and to accessible public art. Presented in partnership with BAND Gallery, the exhibition features four contemporary artists — three local, one international — whose collage art embodies themes of movement and transformation.
These words came to mind when Joséphine Denis, BAND’s Director of Curatorial Initiatives, thought of the type of art she’d like to see in a station like Union. “[Union Station] is a place of coming and going that promises beginnings and marks the ending of journeys and of relationships,” says Denis, “I take that train a lot and it's been a sort of symbolic meaning of a lot of things in my life… but it's also a marker of these very daily quotidian lifestyles and rhythms.”
The art is spread throughout the station, ensuring that commuters can engage with the art no matter where they’re headed, even if it’s just a passing glimpse. “This is not a white box where people come and sit and look, [we had to think about] what people are able to get out of just a glimpse… just walking and turning their head and seeing something.”

A Kind of Order, Cross Section by Timothy Yanick Hunter
Cross Section (2026) looks downward to the subsurface as a shared field of circulation, where what is treated as extractable keeps rerouting relations. Across six prints and a monitor, the image field is built from magnified soil, larvae, pebbles, and cropped fragments of scientific language. Halftone grain and visible seams make the surface feel reproduced, sampled, and reassembled, like knowledge that arrives in pieces. Pixelation suggests the work is constantly re-tuning its own frequency to the motion it tracks. The grain reads like recalibration: information coming into focus, slipping out again, brewing in motion rather than settling into certainty. What appears as life and death here is not an event but a remainder, the visible residue of cycles: metabolism, labour, decay, renewal. Rectangular insertions behave like core samples or windows of study, while page margins and white gaps read as a refusal of total access, a reminder that extraction can measure, classify, and remove, but it cannot take hold of the whole field.
Across the series, the ground is not a backdrop but a system: brood chambers, pebble collections, bundled cables, and clipped captions offering different languages for how matter is organized and made to travel. Timothy Yanick Hunter’s ongoing research treats migration as more than the movement of bodies. Migration appears as ongoing circulation: fragments carried forward, reassembled, and re-tuned, moving through archives, infrastructures, and informal networks of passage. Extending from projects first developed for exhibitions at Cooper Cole Gallery and Bradley Ertaskiran, Cross Section asks what becomes legible as “resource” and what kinds of relation keep gathering at the edges of extraction. It asks not simply what lies beneath, but who gets to name what is underneath, and what refuses to be given over to ownership, enclosure, or the “complete” account.

Here’s the final overview picture of my Jedi Temple Order 66 aka “Knightfall” creation. I built it entirely while home in isolation (I’m all healthy) in under 12 days.
I loosely based it on the old Battlefront 2, and coincidentally I finished it and published the video on the games 15th birthday. I wanted to include the name Knightfall in the base of the build. First I was thinking of doing it in aurebesh (Star Wars language) but then decided to make it in regular english so that more people can read it, but still keep some sci-fi elements to the typography.
One of the main ideas was to include a skyline view of Coruscant trough the windows and I’m quite happy with how that turned out but I could and want to improve on it at some point. The jedi library was a must have and I’m very happy with how that turned out. Same goes for the statues in the build. I found some inspiration in some older online builds and turned them into jedi. I like the overall action and minifig positioning in the build. Some details to point out are the chairs and table, the pattern on the floors as well as the plant pots.
All in all, I’m very happy with the MOC and I think it’s one of my best creations so far. Would love to hear your thoughts on the creation.

Law is a vintage figure I've always wanted but never got around to buying. He came out after I had stopped collecting Joes, but as soon as I heard of him I wanted one. God knows why it took them so long to add an MP to the Joe team!
This is the Sonic Fighters version from 1990, he's a nice paint variation over the original.

Every month is a BW image I took this past year. Basically, every month is a new print hanging on your wall as well as getting a good overview of that month.
I’m pleased to announce that every Tuesday has officially become Taco Tuesday on the Quantum Fold II set.
The Arcturians, bless them, remain absolute deadweights when it comes to celebrating anything—but they adore tacos. Adore them so much, in fact, that wardrobe has had to discreetly let out several silver uniforms. I won’t name names, but you’ll notice the seams.
Pleasing everyone is impossible, of course. The Horocyclians refuse to touch tacos. They vastly prefer the taste of hybrids, which has created… complications. Not just on Tuesdays, either. A few cast members have gone missing, and let’s just say suspicions are high.
Still, mark whatever calendar your species uses and swing by every Tuesday for food truck tacos.
And whatever you do, don’t order the chicken. I’m almost certain it isn’t actually chicken.

The IODE Cross of Sacrifice is a memorial which was presented to the City of Guelph by the Victoria-Guelph Chapter of the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire in June of 1925. It was erected to commemorate those who died while serving during World War I and was dedicated by the local Chapter of the I.O.D.E. on land originally owned by Canadian National Railways. The cross now honours victims of both wars, the Korean War and peacekeeping missions.
The tall granite cross which holds a bronze crusader’s sword stands west of Guelph Central Station at the southeast corner of Carden and Wyndham Streets, near the historic Guelph Armoury.
To this day, individuals gather at the cross every November 11 to lay wreaths in remembrance of those who have given their lives in military service to the country.
The Cross of Sacrifice is a Commonwealth war memorial designed in 1918 by Sir Reginald Blomfield for the Imperial War Graves Commission (now the Commonwealth War Graves Commission). It is frequently found in Commonwealth war cemeteries containing 40 or more graves. Its shape is an elongated Latin cross with a bronze longsword, blade down, affixed to the front of the cross. It is mounted on an octagonal base.
