Back in Auckland... but please allow me to post more of my holiday photos.
Thanks everyone! Happy weekend!
One Instant Film for Polaroid 100 Cameras. The loading and pulling procedure takes a bit of practice-hence the artifact, dyes and light leaks.
I don't like to blow my own horn, but I really like this shot :)
'DL599 photographed this car, also.'

Is it getting better?
Or do you feel the same?
Will it make it easier on you now?
You got someone to blame
You say, one love, one life
When it's one need in the night
One love, we get to share it
Leaves you baby if you don't care for it
Did I disappoint you?
Or leave a bad taste in your mouth?
You act like you never had love
And you want me to go without
Well it's too late tonight
To drag the past out into the light
We're one but we're not the same
We get to carry each other, carry each other
One!
Have you come here for forgiveness?
Have you come to raise the dead?
Have you come here to play Jesus?
To the lepers in your head
Did I ask too much? More than a lot
You gave me nothin' now it's all I got
We're one but we're not the same
Well we hurt each other then we do it again
You say love is a temple, love a higher law
Love is a temple, love the higher law
You ask me to enter but then you make me crawl
And I can't be holdin' on to what you got
When all you got is hurt
One love, one blood
One life, you got to do what you should
One life, with each other
Sisters, brothers
One life but we're not the same
We get to carry each other, carry each other

Snow Goose migration is peaking at Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge. We spent yesterday at the refuge enjoying the spectacle. The day before we were there, the refuge biologist estimated the number of geese at up to 500,000. In addition to the refuge, nearby Big Lake State Park had a large flock on hand. Throughout the day, the sky was dotted with geese arriving. At any given time we could look up and see thousands of geese dropping in for a rest on their journey. At one point we sat by the open water and just watched the mass arrival for about an hour. The geese on the water grew by many acres just in that one hour period. Not having a clue as to how to estimate a count during this madness, we decided to take a shot anyway. A million geese had to be in the area. With all those geese, I thought I would start my postings of this spectacle with a relatively rare scene...a lone goose.
A lone person walking up behind Morrisons Supermarket in Harrow On The Hill gives the LT Museums preserved 1938 Stock a sideways look as its signal checked outside the station. Next stop would be Neasden Depot and the end of public running for the 1938 on LT Metals for another year. It would return to Ealing depot later in the week via the Uxbridge Branch.
Having jumped on the Chiltern DMU in the previous photo I beat the '38 stock back to Harrow by a few minutes after it's forced 'reversal' to Rickmansworth. I then ran as fast as I could up to the main road bridge to snap the '38 stock as it came down to the ramp on the up Amersham line. The Uxbridge lines are on the left of the picture to fly under the Amersham/Chesham/Watford lines.

The Neckarfront is probably the most photographed town in Tuebingen. The ensemble of multi-storey, gabled houses stretching from the Eberhardsbrücke neckar upwards until characteristic Hölderlinturm with the landing of the punts. With this, the southern side of the houses sit on the still existing in parts of the city wall.
The overall picture is one of the Neckarfront superior tower of the collegiate church.

The bosses shut the office early today as they're trying to avoid a visit by the three spirits of Christmas so I stopped off on the way home to shoot some of London's landmarks with my trusy old GF2. Here's a view of St Paul's Cathedral from the One New Change shopping/office building.
