I tend not to like photos that are overdone, but that doesn't stop me from poking at that bear from time to time. :)

Over-processed shot of two manholes taken while walking along my normal path to digital photography class...
I tried to make it look like an impressionist painting, but it just comes off as an under exposed, over processed piece of poo.
This photo is SO over processed it's not even funny!
Livvy at her 7th birthday party on 10/24. She wanted to be a vampire, and she'll Trick or Treat as a vampire tonight too. I shot all the birthday pictures in RAW, then realized that I didn't have a decent RAW converter anymore. BAH. Any suggestions for a good cheap or free conversion program? I want CS2 back - but I lost that a while ago. BAH to Adobe's $800 price tag - BAH I say!

Processed (and over processed) picture of the bottle of mugi-cha (roasted barley tea) I had for dinner.
Shellharbour, NSW
I almost had to over-process this in order to tone down his wetsuit :) I love how it almost looks like a selective colour shot when, in fact, it isn't.
And for February's Alphabet Fun - 'F' is for 'Foam'. Plenty of that out on the ocean today.
#Raphadramatic snaps from the Leicester Forest Cycling Club's annual road race in September 2014.
Please don't pinch my pictures. If you'd like to use them, then let me know. I probably won't charge, but it's nice to be nice, right?

... This is what a restroom sign over processed on the Iphone looks like!
This picture was taken and edited with the Iphone for the Iphone365 project and for the Flickr group Our Daily Challenge ODC-MASCULINE.

I didn't want to turn this into an HDR and I certainly didn't want it to be so over-processed, but I also didn't want to toss out what were otherwise unusable images.
Now that the rush is over, I wanted to go for some quality rather than quantity. When I work fast I tend to over process.

A selfie that seems more like a Cooking Light ad, but that's ok, right?
A little over-processed, but for some reason, it appeals to me today. :)
Another shot from Hornsea, post processed today.
Not sure if it's over processed, but I want to play about with some different techniques to get some inspiration!

Inspired by this photo from Decepticreep.
My framing is not as aesthetically pleasing as that in the original photo. I needed better lighting to reduce the grain, and better camera stability to reduce the blur. Also, Decepti's sharpest focus is on the nearer figure, which makes for a better composition. I was working with my point-n-shoot, and this was the closest I came up with out of several shots. My rim light wasn't set quite right, so I didn't get the same "enhanced" outline around the figures when I "over-processed" the image.
I find it interesting to try to duplicate the effect of photos I like. I will revisit this effort when I have a bit more time; and after my "good" camera comes back from the repair center.
The AT-AT Commander is kind of a cool looking figure, although not very well made. The hands seem to fall out rather easily. He'll make a good German officer in the Raiders of the Toy Box photo story group.

This is an HDR, from 5 exposures, using a new "clean" workflow. No more halos or over processed look!
The HDR process was used to bring out just a little more detail in the shadows at the bottom.
So I haven't uploaded anything in ages and this isn't exactly how I wanted to make my come-back... but, again, I haven't posted anything in so long I feel I should just get the ball rolling again. I had made this dress from paper (red tissue paper for roses and top and packaging paper for the skirt) and needed to do something with it. Hopefully I will find some free time soon and will have better lighting conditions and won't post something so cheesy and over-processed...

I'm a bit grumpy today - a mix of hormones, crowded commuter train and giving up meat for the month becasue I'm having a vegetarian month as part of my 101 things to do in 1001 days (this is the thing that's really bothering me).
I don't usually eat a lot of meat and prefer eating vegetarian food most of the time, but now that I can't eat meat, I really really want it. I'm ten days in and irrationally craving things like cheeseburgers, which I don't even like! I dreamt about roast chicken last night and I keep seeing Tom and Jerry style hams everywhere. I'm sure that I only want it because I can't have it, which says a lot about why diets don't work with me...
Anyway, the grumpy eyes seem to work as Big Brother for the scavenger hunt, so that's what you are getting!
Nikon Coolpix L6, 2/09, An experiment in over processing. The processing developed a dimensional or HDR quality, but I don't have HDR. Now I have to remember what I did. Crappy photo that needed work: challenge 1
Belvedere Tower at Powderham Castle, Exeter. Slightly over-processed! Tone-mapped, textured, pseudo infra-red, for a gothic feel.
Heavily (over) processed Hubble Space Telescope image of the "Pillars of Creation" in the Eagle Nebula (M16).
Stand well back. This picture has been over processed to within an inch of it’s life, it may still be toxic.
Promised some pink and I have delivered!

Classic "I want my picture to look cool so I over-process the crap out of it" shot but I like it. With major dog health problems going on with my parents dog that I helped raise and friends dogs...it is reminding me to enjoy the time I have with my two rascals.
I know, I know - it's way over processed, but I couldn't help myself on this one. Every once in a while you just need "in your face" colors and drama :) This is actually from an old series of shots where I accidentally had the ISO cranked to 1600, so the noise is awful and I figured I may as well play with Topaz to see what I could salvage.
