My first photo of Saturn taken using Nikon DSLR via prime focus . (over)Processed using Registax and Photoshop. I then discovered that my 200mm reflector needed collimating....
Saturday night. Exhausted from rocking out at a Rock Band party last night. No desire to lug the Nikon out of its hiding place, and I left the point-and-shoot at the party, so I shoot my 365 w/ my Blackberry and promise to over-process the shit out of it come uploading time.
Promise fulfilled!

Significantly over processed... but I like this one. The slight desaturation also adds character as well. The pure mono didn't suit it as much.
Jawbone Canyon is a geographic feature in the Mojave Desert and a Bureau of Land Management area located in Kern County, California, 20 miles (32 km) north of Mojave on CA 14. The area is a popular destination for hikers and off road vehicle enthusiasts.
Europeans first settled in the canyon around 1860—naming it Jawbone because its shape resembled a mandible—and the trail was used as a trade route from Keyesville into the Piute Mountains (not to be confused with the Piute Mountains of the eastern Mojave Desert). During the Kern River gold rush, several gold mines operated in the canyon; the most successful of these, the St. John mine, yielded nearly $700,000 worth of gold between 1860 and 1875. The Gwynn mine, on the Geringer Grade, ran six claims yielding a total of $770,000 worth of gold and quartz before ceasing operations in 1942. Mining continued throughout the 1940s, mainly focused on rhyolite and antimony.

Note: These images were taken with the Samsung S22 Ultra, which I have since returned because I find the images over-processed, but I'm posting them as a review of that device, and because this was a new-to-me area.
Taken the same day as the previous image (weathered wooden fencing), this is the marquee and ornate facade of the historic Wheaton Grand Theater. This downtown Wheaton landmark that has definitely seen grander and more glorious days.
First opened in 1925... it's stage showcased vaudeville acts and silent movies. These days... it's referred to as an 'architectural treasure'. From what I can see... that pretty much means it's in a state of sad disrepair and prolonged neglect. And while I hear that restoration efforts are underway (from the inside out)... it's shabby chic curb appeal has become iconic... just the way it currently stands... as it whispers of it's colorful past.
Purposefully over-processed... just having fun on a Saturday afternoon! =)

Many of my works - like this one - are produced entirely digitally. I sometimes re-use older works as art elements and also drawing objects - usually rectangles. These are combined together using Serif PagePlus X3.
Next I mesh warp the image and finally photographically over process the image with Paint Shop Pro.
My Flickr 1st Birthday - 1 year - woah :)
A Huge Thank You to all the Wonderful Friends and Contacts that I've come across in Flickr Land.
I look forward to another year and will try to devote more time and effort (promise) :D ... YaY!!!!
Big Thanks to Ed for my Portrait : cityphotographer
Heavily edited and processed New Horizons false color image of Pluto, released on 14 July 2015, in anticipation of the large number (if slowly arriving) of images to come over the next eighteen months.
#25 Beads for 115 pictures in 2015
Another topic I had a hard time with. I only had my camera phone shopping in these nice colorful shops but the owners get quite angry if you take photos. This was done out of the side of my eye. It has been over-processed to death to try and give it a bit interest! Almost done!
Not a huge difference on camera. In person it did look quite a bit different. Much smoother skin, glowing more, the eyes were accentuated. I really liked the lipstick color too. Maybe I shouldn't have been so piratical...
Another headshot of Nina. This one way over-processed. Going for the Dave Hill look.
Strobist: Shot using one Vivitar 285hv through a white umbrella @ 1/4.
...which looks like an unfortunate growth and I over processed the white of my eye because it's still bloodshot from Saturday night. I'm crying about the fact that the older you get, the longer you take to recover (unless, of course, you have Photoshop)
:-)
For threesixtyfive and FGR's theme "Fake Crying"

Over-Processed and Loving it!
Writing on the Wall
This was done just outside Tara Station and it attracted some annoying attention. For it I wanted the graffiti to stand out against so I used my flash to light it up a bit but this attracted people like moths watching on asking what I was doing, some guy though I was trying to take pictures of fish....eventually I got kinda annoyed cause they started moving in too close so I packed up and went off and this came out of it. This is about 10 separate exposures layered on top of each other and set to lighten only followed by a little masking since I was caught holding the flash in each shot and then a crop and a hue shift to finish it off.
Camera Info: D90 | 18-105mm(3.5-5.6)@21mm | 1/40s | f/22 | ISO 200 |Tripoded on self timer.
Strobist: One YN-460 set at full power triggered by blazzeo triggers handheld and moved for each exposure
Over saturation and over processing in photoshop because i wanted to go extreme in editing.
Taking flower shots, editing them and uploading them always makes me happy. I hope seeing them makes you happy too. You can use this and other photos in my blog for your own purpose. If you want full size, just send me a message. :)
Really lazy day today. All I did was sit around, play video games and eat way too many packet noodles (no such thing). This picture is super lame and over-processed but hey-ho.
Apologies if you feel this image is inappropriate, or you don't like definitely over processed images!
Over processed? Sure it is. But I'm always amazed at the details that show up in the clouds when you start playing with the Levels sliders.
To focus on type of anxiety, GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), it is one of the anxiety-based disorders that is most common with people around the world. People diagnosed with GAD often and persistently have unrealistic, troubling and over-processed thoughts. It is very hard to manage persistent thoughts and over time if not addressed, will become more unrealistic and crippling.
"Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is characterized by persistent and excessive worry about a number of different things. People with GAD may anticipate disaster and may be overly concerned about money, health, family, work, or other issues. Individuals with GAD find it difficult to control their worry. They may worry more than seems warranted about actual events or may expect the worst even when there is no apparent reason for concern."
I have used a layering technique to visually show how anxious and unrealistic thoughts can look and feel like. It can be overwhelming, like 800 things are going through your mind at once.

this was a nice picture once but I went crazy and over processed it. I dont care, I sort of think it's cool. I like the little zig zaggy ovals around my head. they remind me of a comic book or something. :-)
not one of my best maybe but everyone has those days right?
I really like the positioning and processing of this photo. Maybe a bit too over processed but I still like it because the environment matches her tone of clothes. I really liked how I used bokeh in the background because the stream of florescent lights in the back make some sort of path but that is just a minor thing to notice on. Overall this was a great model :) Appreciated this project
Not very fond of over processed photos but thought id better learn if for nothing else to help me get used to photo shop and stuff.
shot through a dirty car windshield and over-processed with Shotwell and then digikam
Yes I was driving when I took the photo but I can assure you that taking this photo did not lead to the next photo in my stream (or anything like it).
submitted for ODC rain
Heavily (over) processed Hubble Space Telescope image of the "Pillars of Creation" in the Eagle Nebula (M16).
This is the result of doing some serious testing of the following:
New Panasonic 14mm f/2.5 lens
Reflective lighting (using a piece of white laminated cardboard)
Using my E-P2 on a tripod with remote shutter release
Getting correct white balance
Adjusting for noise, clarity, vibrancy, etc. in Camera Raw
Adjusting levels in PSE
What is your opinion? What could I be doing better? (Obviously the composition but that's not what I was working on.) Does the lighting and color look good and natural? Is it as sharp and noise-free as possible while still looking realistic and not over-processed? (I realized afterwards that I still had Auto ISO on but luckily I have it capped at 800. Still, since I was using a tripod, no excuse for it not to be 200.)
Olympus PEN E-P2
Panasonic Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 ASPH.
An outdoor light viewed through a diffraction grating. -- I have a really hard time trying not to over process shots like this. -- and I'm desperately searching for neat light sources.
And I went kinda nuts with this one - OVER processing it, just for fun! I like it! Feel free to criticize though!
Ramsey Harbour. A7r with Pentax 1.8/31Ltd.
jpeg (over)processed in Snapseed in the cafe over the road.
This is way over-processed, but I have a wicked cough, tired, and going to bed so I don't care. This is by the Cornwall Covered Bridge, on the east side, there is a side street- this house is across from the library. I always thought it looked cool.
While we were going to the Sacramento River Delta this afternoon, a fire started on the eastern side of Mount Diablo in the San Francisco Bay Area and put up a lot of smoke. Because it was so hazy and smoky, detail was hard to see, so I heavily processed one image (which entailed splitting the image up into several different types of components then finally combining them into a CMYK image) that showed some detail...
9.16.10,
12 hour day of work. Came home, Jen came over and we went to Murphy's to eat. Came home and did this. Not as good as I want and way over processed so you couldn't see how crappy of a job I did. :)
......room for a few over-processed alternates.
;-)
Gives me somethin to do with my morning coffee of course.
tee hee.
