This little barn is glad winter is over!
Processed entirely on the iPad for a class I am taking on device editing. This was the first lesson...very fun...:-)))

Glenelg is a scattered and largely white-painted settlement that wraps itself around Glenelg Bay with views west across the Kyle Rhea to the mountains of eastern Skye
Between March and October, a small vehicle ferry connects to Kylerhea on Skye across the powerful currents of the narrows.
Smile on Saturday : ) - Over-processed Portrait
I used Snapseed to add a "Bright" filter, and Lightroom to crop out the landscape, clean up the white background, and add a touch of color to her eyes. Snapseed eats the EXIF, shot with Canon SX50
This photo was taken by Just In Time. Please make sure to stop by her stream and check out the amazing photos.
For those of you who are interested, this is a compilation image of "Just In Time's" photo and OPT Processing As you can see the result is absolutely breathtaking. Rest assured that this is NOT an hdr image. Our magical technique creates results much like that of an HDR however, can be done with a single exposure, and eliminates the "halo" effect you most often find in hdr imagery. This technique is becoming well know as OPT. OPT is a combination of many programs EXCLUDING Photoshop. We hope to someday make OPT available to everyone through a software program, with a different name than OPT (over processed technique)
As you can see from this image, the sharpness, the color, the depth is increased exponentially.

Smile on Saturday: Over-processed Clouds
I know "red sky at night is a shepherd's delight" & "red sky in the morning is a shepherd's warning" but what would the shepherd make of a "purple sky in the evening"?😂
I like the cloud shapes ... like giant waves in the sky🌊

Un grand merci pour vos favoris, commentaires et encouragements toujours très appréciés.
Many thanks for your much appreciated favorites and comments.
Captured in: North Topsail Beach, NC.
Pictured here is a view of a large (and rather threatening) cumulonimbus cloud as it loomed over North Topsail Beach, NC.
It ultimately became part of a severe thunderstorm cell, complete with heavy wind & rain, and a fair amount of cloud to ground lightning.
I managed to capture this shot before the weather turned too nasty. My intent was to snap a few shots prior to the storm, as I had no interest in being struck by lightning on the beach! :{

Some notes on this image:
I decided to make some processing changes to one of my favorite shots - There's a Storm a Brewin'. I decided to scrap the original version, and start the HDR & Photoshop processing over from scratch. I wasn't sure the best way to represent the changes with regard to my photostream, but decided to create a separate post instead of just replacing the old image.
I've been trying to fine tune my processing lately.. Looking to strike a better balance between dramatic HDR features, and maintaining a somewhat more natural overall look.
The original image seemed too over processed (at least to me), and way over-sharpened. The version you see now is more in line with how I believe the image should look.
Hope you like the new version... To compare, here's a link to the original image:

"There's a Storm a Brewin' (Redux)" is an HDR image constructed from 3 bracketed shots - 2 stop differential between each image.
The image was processed w/ ACR, Photomatix, and finished in Photoshop (includes the use of Topaz Labs plugins -- Adjust, Clarity, Clean, Denoise, Detail, Glow, Impression, and LensFX).
...to this. Started with an evening picture taken earlier in the month. I took a few (as one does) perhaps for a future timelapse (although I never take a sufficient number of pics and then forget about it). I almost didn't bother today, especially as I had internet problems all day, but when I read the comment of Pixelated Sky that this was an opportunity not to be missed, I thought I'd have a go after all. I even started with Peter's method of duplicating the image and using different blend modes, but then I used a zoom filter and the colours got even crazier. Thanks Peter :)
This is how I feel Snow is this year just an abstract idea, This is the same shot I put in yesterday of the Snowy Footbridge done to the theme on Smile on Saturday which is Over Processed but the question is can you ever over process 😉
I would not normally edit a sky like this let alone post it on Flickr but as it is the theme for Smile on Saturday here goes!...
Happy Smile on Saturday! the theme this week is: OVER-PROCESSED CLOUDS. I used picmonkey to modify the photo.
Partir. Revenir. S'amsuer avec nos photos . Une photo modifiee pour le theme de la semaine sur Happy Smile on Saturday!
Over processed clouds give the impression of a rainy, stormy day for your rail journey. The truth of the matter is that it was a lovely day with blue skies and white fluffy clouds!
Taken at Muskham Crossing, Newark.
For Smile on Saturday, theme - Over Processed Clouds.
