A gray day, but there is texture in those clouds, enhanced by a bit of HDR, which also brings out the color of the building against the gray sky. Over-processed?

Processed (and over processed) picture of the bottle of mugi-cha (roasted barley tea) I had for dinner.

Found a couple of little falls on my travels today, on Tarras Water between Langholm and Newcastleton, this one's maybe a tad over processed, but I kinda like it like this....

This is another attempt at HDR and I'm quite pleased with it. The image is quite saturated but I tried to avoid over-processing it. The main problem I see is the ghosting of the tree branches as a result of the wind.

Post Processed in Photoshop CS5 (Gaussian Blur, High Pass, B&W, Levels).

Question:

Did I over process this?

Lots like I over processed this one a bit

I feel like I over-processed; it's a bit dark. Maybe I'll fix it one of these days.

Gratuitous over-processing of Saturn's clouds, colorized from Cassini images.

250/365: Yes, it's over-processed, but I kinda liked the bleakness of the path towards the tree with no leaves, so it can be my photo for today!

Stoke Bardolph, November 2010

A heavily processed shot from Bowl Over at kicking Horse. I wish I remembered how I did this.

Again playing with my studio lighting and over processing.

1 500w strobe on my right 1 300w strobe on my left.

This image looks super over processed, but I barely did anything to it. In fact, I actually desaturated it. Looks better bigger on a dark background.

Some field in Lincoln at 4am in the morning. It was very windy, purple and rustly. The picture looks like an HDR and I guess it is a little over processed but I'm not bored of it yet.

Processed (from moderate to over-processed) image taken from the Point Bonita Lighthouse. This version was run through a stained-glass filter. Waves on the ocean don't make a very good stained-glass window...

A bit over processed, even for my own taste I think, wanted a sort of children's book/illustration feel to this. Not got there but kinda like it!

A little bit over-processed?

Please don't pinch my pictures. If you'd like to use them, then let me know. I probably won't charge, but it's nice to be nice, right?

Another over processed HDR portrait using my iPhone 4S with a fish eye lens attached then processed thro several iPhone apps... The finished piece and effect are deliberate.

i went out to shoot the cows and apparently they weren't in the mood for paparazzi me - so i turned my attention to these guys. needless to say i stepped in some deep mud and was walking around with mud cake shoes all day, very attractive.

For a lot of people this will be over processed. But it's cool. There's a whole story as to why the Photomatix watermark is still there by the way!

This was shot with the D3 into a bathroom mirror and reversed in post. Over processed for grittiness. The flash offers up a surreal look while allowing capture of the aperture blades.

I've been busy in the past few weeks, and didn't have time to either post or comment on Flickr... One more post for 2011, a bit over-processed but expressing the feeling I had when shooting this.

I wish you all a Happy New Year and all the best for 2012!!!

Sometimes we tend to over-process photos. Aside from a slight adjustment to contrast, this is pretty much as the camera spat it to me.

When in doubt and the weather's not ideal, over-process :)

Wow, does this look over-processed! Sunset on shiny aluminum. Easy to get carried away in PP. I thought the turnbuckles were interesting, though.

Maybe a little over processed but I like it.

tribal dove tat on my left foot...obviously under running water

(it isn't that thick, that's a product of the over processing ;) )

This is a little over-processed! (I should re-do it one day...)

Fluffed the focus so did some (over) processing.
