I am not a Devil fan, but the iconography of diabolism sometimes openly hides and excellently guides a palate towards satisfaction that is Heavenly Angelic and sumptuously fulfilling without being an indulgence of evil. Please note non alcoholic options to fulfilment are also available. This is only a picture opportunity for now. Today is Michaelmas the Feast of Saint Michael and All Angels. The 29 September celebrates the descent of the deceiver and Archangel Michael is often depicted vanquishing Lucifer. This celebration is also the Feast of the Archangels and to some the triumph of Heaven marks the point at which fruit is to be left on the bough having suffered some dire fate with Satan contact making the fruit bitter from his devilish actions. The bitter fruit from this time can be used to create alcohol and the effects of the late fruit may be noticed in the fermenting process. The Feast of Saints, or Archangels usually includes Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. In certain denominations a fourth angel often Uriel is included and the Archangels can be set to characterise the four stations of the year, identified to the directions of the compass, and perceived as the faces of the season progression and even to elemental natures.
The following traditional rhyme marks the resilient character of the Daisy as a late flower icon.
“The Michaelmas-daisies, among dead weeds, [29 September]
Bloom for St Michael’s valorous deeds.
And seems the last of flowers that stood,

The Via Crucis, Living Stations of the Cross, is an annual Good Friday tradition at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dalton, Georgia, USA (a 5000 family, 90% Hispanic parish). They are a loving, faithful work of the people of the community, attended by thousands.
I took these pictures when I was pastor there from 2009 to 2022. I always tried to capture the crowds, the individuals, the faces, the emotions, and the pathos of the scenes, in addition to the photogenic and thematic contrasts, colors, textures, and just plain beauty of the scenes.
Over the years, you'll see the actors change and grow up, to the point where, by 2019, the kids who were babes in arms in the early years wanted to put on their own version (the last group of photos). Many of our special needs kids played a big role.
One of the actors who played Jesus went on to West Point and is now serving our country. Other young people in these photos went on to college, but came back to serve our community in various fields, including law and medicine.
Back then, I used a Nikon D40, then a Nikon D3200. These pictures have been enhanced for color and texture with Darktable software.

The original north boundary of the Third County was located at what is now 59th Street in Oklahoma City: it was moved to 89th Street in 1891. The original east boundary was the Pottawatomie Indian Treaty Line, located near present-day 132nd Ave. SE in Norman: it was later moved six & one-half miles east.
Governor Steele called for an election, to be held on August 5, 1890, to choose a permanent name for the Third County. The editor of the Norman Transcript suggested "Little River County", but local political parties had other plans. The Democrats held caucuses on July 26 and chose the name "Mansur County"in honor of Charles Mansur (U.S. Representative, Missouri, 1887-1893) because he had supported the settlement of the Unassigned Lands.
Two days later, county Republicans announced their choice of "Lincoln County", in honor of slain President Abraham Lincoln. After hearing the Republican choice. Democrat party leaders called and emergency session to choose a new name. William C. Renfrow, a prominent Norman businessman, suggested "Cleveland County", after former President Grover Cleveland.
When the election was held on August 5, the Democrats won by a wide margins: "Cleveland County" received 829 votes while "Lincoln County" receive 405. (Renfrow's role in the win was duly noted by the Democrats, and when Grover Cleveland was elected to a second term as U.S. President in 1893, he removed then-Governor Abraham Seay, a Republican, from office and appointed Renfrow in his place).

Pals of the Privies Halloween 2021 event may have been put back a day due to the weather, but it never stopped the crowds filling into Glen Coats park resulting in another awesome turn out. And given how hectic and crazy it was shooting the kids by the giant frame which was good fun, I`m sure the volunteers were glad to see so many smiles on so many faces making these events worth all the effort these family friends and pals put into it creating great memories for all your kids and selves. I have too I had a little too much fun myself as one or two photos I shot are out of focus, but I stuck them given most mums would love them regardless and hopefully you find something that captured last nights spooktacular.

The former of hovedpostkontor (or main post office) stands at Dronningens gate 15. The town's former main post office (also known as Sentrum postgård) was built from 1914 to 1924 using Nordic Romanticism and Jugendstil designs. On the site of the current edifice, previously stood the Christiania Lærde School (Christiania Cathedral School), where the Storting held its meetings from 1814 to 1854. This building was converted into shops, restaurants, and apartments and is now known as Posthallen.

Oslo is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. During the Viking Age, the area was part of Viken. Oslo is the economic and governmental center of Norway. The city is also a hub of Norwegian trade, banking, industry and shipping. It is an important hub for maritime industries and maritime trade in Europe.

The utopian landscape of Herb's house. This painting is the idea of a perfect/natural environment prior to industrialization. Trees grow, there are fields of crops, and lands as far as the eye can see. His little dog is out along the pathway peering out to a little flag that is just poking out above the hill. This flag foreshadows the second panel.
Today I walked from Broombridge along the Royal Canal until I reached Cross Guns Bridge and on my way I visited Shandon in Phibsborough.
Shandon is a small collection of roads on Dublin's Northside within the district of Phibsboro. It consists of 3 terraces of Edwardian (Victorian style) houses along the banks of the Royal Canal, built around 1926.
The area was expanded in 1952 by the addition of a terrace of concrete houses, Shandon Gardens and more recently with Shandon Crescent and Shandon Green.
