For pics on the beach, 35-066 thru 35-070, The location is Hammonasset State Park. The water tower seen in 35-066 can be seen at the left edge of the photo below. Apparently, it was removed after a plane crashed into it. For another view, see www.cthistoryonline.org/cdm-cho/item_viewer.php?CISOROOT=...

That pic is from 1961 and shows the water tower at the top, along with the various buildings visible in the slides.

Kind of cheating I think as she was eating her roll with number nine but two in one go is really easy.

I have asked myself if I can do more than one stranger in one shot do the multiples count on their own.

Each to their own portrait I think.

This elevated position was accessed via a painful trip through nettles, bushes and trees but it was worth the effort to find a 'different' image to the norm.

Technically it was really hard because of the zero lead in - the bikes just appeared beneath the lens and thank God for 10fps is all I can say. This is a slight height crop to give a more rectangular feel but the width is original.

The junction of Fall Lane and Weir Side in Marsden, used a number of times in 1990's and 2000's episodes. The red railings at Marsden, as seen here, can be seen in a number of episodes and run right down to the weir a short walk away, which is also featured a number of times.

The Cudahy Chicago and NorthWestern Railway Depot (Cudahy Depot) is locally significant under

National Register Criterion A for its association with the history of the railroad and rail transportation

in Cudahy, Wisconsin. The depot, constructed in 1892 on land donated by Patrick Cudahy, served the

newly established community and its large meat processing facility by bringing employees to and from

work and, after 1907, moving freight from Cudahy's various industries and manufacturing facilities

and connecting the city to national markets. Additionally, the depot is locally significant under

Criterion C as an excellent intact example of a late nineteenth century, small town, wood frame

railroad depot. In 2007, the Cudahy Depot was found eligible for inclusion in the National Register. 3

The period of significance extends from the 1892 date of construction until passenger service was

discontinued in 1956.

The sound of music is a wonderful thing, it mutes out everything you don't want to hear, and makes you feel you're in a world of your own. I love my earphones, Noise Canceling of course (:

Today I went to the doctors in the morning to see about some various things, but got referred to the hospital.

I went to college, and sat outside and inside, waiting for rachel to finish (:

And when she had, we walked down town back to the Carphone Warehouse to pick up a replacement phone of which they didn't have.

We then bought some crisps from superdrug which were 5p a packet (; and sat outside greenwoods waiting for rachels mum to go to the opticians for rachel. She got checked and got some glasses which i like (:

We then went back to rachels and watched "The World Trade Center" in the living room, then we had tea and later went in the computer room together ")

Southern Pacific steam locomotive number 1258 was one of 38 SP built S-12 switch engines. It was one of 6 built in SP's Los Angeles shop's as LA Shop job # 8. Weighing nearly 80 tons, and operating at 200 psi steam pressure the 1258 and her sisters were the state of the art of steam efficiency at their time of conception in 1921. She spent most of her life working in the northern California area. Southern Pacific retired all of it's steam power by 1956, and the 1258 sat on the deadline track at Oakland yard waiting for the scrappers torch, when in 1959 she was donated to the City of Martinez as a museum piece. She was moved to Rankin Park in the hills of Martinez, where she sat until being moved adjacent to the Southern Pacific, now Union Pacific main line at the Martinez Amtrak station in the mid 1980's. She now sits there with her tender, a wooden Santa Fe boxcar, and a Santa Fe caboose. Vandalism took a good part of her features away, but a group of local residents went to work painting her up and today she sits as pretty as she has been in years.

Today I caught up with some newly arrived/awaken signs of spring. Red-winged Blackbirds were singing all along the river this morning and a Song Sparrow was singing up a storm behind me when I took this particular photo. Canada Geese were all over the place and the Ring-billed Gull population has exploded since I was last out. My backyard chipmunk was out today for the first time this year and a number of chipmunks were also running around in the woods this afternoon. I saw a number of spiders and winter craneflies in the woods too and it sounded like love was in the air for Hairy Woodpeckers. Love was definitely in the air for a pair of squirrels that put on an x-rated show in one of my backyard trees! But tomorrow it will be back to snow=\

Striving to be number one is often a good thing, but sometimes it's not so great. Harry Potter has to decide which is which. In this particular case, he appears to be one in a set of five.
