Joe is a very important man at Coogee beach in Western Australia as he is a member of the surf life saving club. He and his team were getting their boat out when I went to the beach to swim.

This piece is called "Number 15." It was shown in the Beyond Basketry 2008 show at Dairy Barn in Athens, OH and in the full color catalog of the same name.
Vintage find for £2, finally worked out how to use it and got some ink for metal. Turned the felt pad round now so working better, will be hard to find a pad to fit, don't think they make these anymore!
Anybody have any idea how often I have to add ink, surely it will dry up!

Sahlen's Six hours at the Glen. Grand Am racing at Watkins Glen, June 2013. Daytona Prototypes, GT, GX, IMSA GT Cup, Continental Sports Car Challenge (ST, GS), and F2000.
I took this photo on the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. I saw this man and his son and I loved his visual look. They were visiting from San Antonio, and I had just spent a month there fro work. We spent a good ten minutes talking about the best places to eat there. 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
First I saw it from too far off as it left the depot. Then I met it when I was on another tram. Finally i figured out that I would be able to see it at Kungsportsplatsen, so I went there and waited ten minutes.
So.. handheld ... the number 18 on my new camera :) Iso 1600. Now I still have to learn a lot. ( no noise treatment)
Pol Pot was born as Saloth Sar and called Brother Number One by the Khmer Rouge. He died in 1998 in the jungle where Khmer Rouge had withdrawn after the Vietnamese overthrown of power in Phnom Penh in 1979.
The man was never arrested or brought to justice.
