This is showing technologies which are currently available. Note how this is somewhat simlar to the way in which information can now be "Glu-ed" together.

Holly here from Blythe Network News. The beautiful Leonor is in Rio Grande Brazil right now and has been having a wonderful time with mari. Despite some rain they have been spending time out and have gone to the movies. Geo is with Sai/Rebecca in Germany. She was caught up in customs for a bit and a whopping 75 euros needed to be paid. This little one has covered a lot of ground. For those who have not heard, sweet Amelia is missing. My heart is just not into reporting tonight. From all over the world messages of encouragement have arrived. The Traveling Blythe Program has touched many people and brought them together. It is sad to think of one of our sisters being lost, it is a fear we all share. Let us hope for the best and send some good thoughts to Gbaby all those who care for sweet Amelia.
8/15/11 News update: Hundreds of people who are not hosts of the traveling blythes are posting photos on flickr and fb. Offers to make reward posters, to give reward money, to make calls and more are coming in from all over the world. Jen the brass cupcake is diligently making calls and has set aside her day to try and get in touch with the building mail room and post office in california. The post office will not discuss with anyone other than the sender or receiver. I know it is very sad because of course we all relate it to our own girls which is very scary. Obviously amelia is one of our girls by the love everyone has been showing. Gbary has been a rock during this and we all send love to her.
This was in connection with a special event at Waterloo, the reason for which escapes me now. The unit is displaying a slightly fanciful destination!

A class 365 Networker Express unit approaches Rainham on a Ramsgate - Victoria working. The grimy exterior condition has always been the norm on the Kent main lines, and shows how some characteristics of a particular area can survive operators. In BR days, South Eastern Division main line units were always grubby compared to the similar units on the Central & South Western divisions. The same situation still applies today; although the current incumbent 'Southeastern.' are quite a bit better than their predecessors Connex, they rarely achieve the standard of cleanliness maintained by 'Southern' or SWT, particularly with the 375/6 and 375/7 stock. For some reason the 375/9 units always seem to be cleaner.

Network Rail's test unit (based on a Class 150 DMU) heads towards Winning Crossing on the Blyth & Tyne Railway.
A closeup on an IKEA 'rack' in my 'den', which holds our network printer, scanner, network server ('ayeka') and some hanging files.
The printer ('azaka') is an HP LaserJet 4100TN network laser, which we can print to from anywhere else on our home LAN. I bought this from my office when they were engaged in a bout of new printer-buying in late 2005, and were selling off the older machines. The printer cost me somewhat less than a new toner cartridge for it, though thankfully at time of writing I haven't had to replace one yet.
The scanner is a Canon LiDE 35 USB model - currently connected directly to 'tenchi' (my main desktop PC), though one day I want to try linking it to 'ayeka' running a SANE scanner server, so we could scan from any other PC on the network. That's not exactly high on the list, though.

Holly here from Blythe Network News! Sorry it has taken so long to post the new map but I have been trying to wait out Amelias arrival to kittyrobotjody and complete that map but I could not wait any longer. I hope that when Amelia arrives at her last stop we can all send comments to kittyrobotjody and show our support to her for her long wait. But here is the new BNN map for this years Traveling Blythes. Please go to the Group and see all the wonderful photos that the First Hosts have put up. Makani has been with Zanalee in New York. Compass has been with luckybells in Ohio. Aurora has been with wheatpennyjenny in Hawaii. It is hard to be the First Host because you do not get to see all the wonderful momentos the girls get along the way. We thank all of them for being so gracious. Good night from Blythe Network news.

Saturday 15th May 2021 was expected to be the last day of operation for Great Northern's Class 365 units after nearly 25 years of service. On the 14th, the final weekday 1P05 06:37 Peterborough to London King's Cross diagram ran in an expanded 12-car formation, including units Nos.365502 (leading) and 365522 (trailing).
The service is seen at Holme Green crossing in murky and slightly drizzly conditions, having just left Biggleswade for the capital.
Elite6 Business Networking www.elite6.co.nz
We are a progressive and forward thinking business networking organisation that brings local businesses together each week for an hour of interactive networking.
At each meeting one member delivers a 15-minute presentation to the meeting.
Then, each person speaks for five minutes about their business while sitting at a table of six. Tables are mixed each week, so you get to meet different people. This is a major point of difference with Elite6 compared to other networking groups. Members are encouraged to meet outside the Elite6 meetings for further discussion about how their businesses might collaborate and/or refer to each other.
We also promote each business online with the Elite6 Members Directory each member has the ability to post Blogs and Events! Again this is distinctive to Elite6. Several groups meet each week in Ferrymead, Cashmere, Rolleston, Christchurch City, Tower Junction, Rangiora, Papanui, Waimakariri, Avonhead, Merivale and Sydenham with more groups springing up all the time in other areas.
We’d love to have you visit one of our groups so If you are interested in joining us Register online and one of our Facilitators will contact you!
