At my home office, where my work relies on a network connection, I now have a backup and a backup backup network.
On the left is my cable modem- NPG cable today was doing some un-announced service and it blinked out. I then tried to use the iPhone to message the office (switching it off the wireless form the cable modem to EDGE network) but whatever outage there was must have been regional, because it was unable to connect to the cellular network.
Lastly, my Alltel EVDO modem worked like a charm... by the time I had tried Networks number 2 and 3, number 1 came back on.

This vehicle was originally built as a Mark 2B Corridor Brake First and numbered 14112. It was later converted to a Royal Household couchette, numbered 2906.
It has since been further converted into its current condition for use as a staff coach for Network Rail test train duties.
