No idea if somebody has a better idea, or if somebody came up with this already, but this is currently the best I could come up with. The lowest plate is actually not needed, the design seems to stay without bending also without this plate.

I had an interview in Lenexa, KS today and have high hopes of landing the position. As with all of my other interviewing trips, I try to leave some "buffer time" prior to the interview just in case of traffic issues. Buffer time sometimes equals "Get The Shot." This local crew probably got some chuckles out of the guy in a suit taking pictures of their job.
I was astonished to find all green fore-and-aft as the 3443 & 2740 were shoving north with another green "waycar" protecting the shove. 3443 was originally a Frisco switcher so she continues to work on "home" rails. Other than the stored 3400 in Springfield, I'm not sure I can remember seeing a switcher on the BNSF in years. I've seen other KC area fans have shots of this job or passing trains with the parked equipment and I was happy to stumble into this scene. I'm hoping catching all of this cascade green goodness was a good omen as I felt I did well with the interview. Keeping finger crossed!

A few months ago I went on a tour of the Morgan Factory in Malvern. It's a great tour, you learn about the history of these iconic cars and see them all being made. These are in the finishing and inspection shops. A Classic Roadster is having the final touches put to it.
Christchurch in Doncaster used to be the terminus for a whole host of local independent operators. Many names and identities were lost into the new SYPTE, and by the time this was taken in 1993 the bus stops around the church only saw Mainline B10Ms looping in and out on their way past. And sometimes it saw a Leon Fleetline parked up when I needed to nip home for an hour.
Seen on a Saturday afternoon, in the break between trips on the 191 and the start of the evening 152 service, ex GMPTE Fleetline 8049 keeps the candle burning for the Doncaster independent operator.
It was at City of Como, Italy. That morning, we saw hundreds of motor bikes riding across the city. Some roads were blocked by police in order to let them passing through.
