Good to see a rural garage like this still going and selling fuel. Reminded me of the type sometimes seen in France with accommodation above the shop and workshop.
Streetview shows they were selling UK fuel in 2009and 2011, then Pace from at least 2016.
It looks like there have been plans to demolish the garage and redevelop it with flats, but they have not yet come to fruition.

Former London Transport Leyland National LS348 (AYR 348T) at the Thomas Motors of Barry depot on 4th September, 1996. Thomas had been taken over by Shamrock a few months earlier. I'm not entirely sure all this time later, but I think the colours carried were those of Cyril Evans, Senghenydd, and the fleet number (483) dated from its time at Rhondda Buses.
"The Sim Hudson Motor Company played a major role in the development of automobile sales and service in Burlington. Beginning as the Golden Belt Garage, during Sim Hudson’s ownership of the property his dealership sold and serviced Chevrolets. His facility also sold auto parts, dispensed gasoline through curbside pumps and stored automobiles for customers without garages. He commissioned a new Art Deco facade that, when completed in 1932, gave the dealership a modern eye-catching appearance. The main building is a good example of an important 20th century building type–the automobile dealership. The specialized nature of the product and services sold dictated a special building form. The Hudson Motor Company exemplifies the dealership type developed in the first half of the 20th century that combined sales, service, storage and fueling in a one-story building at the street edge. The Hudson building exemplifies the architectural evolution of the classic pre-World War II automobile dealership. Property owner Frank Lund prepared [this information]."

Visit to the June 20, 2015 Motor Muster at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan. This car show takes place every Father's Day weekend and features vehicles built between 1933 and the late 1970's. I attended with my flickr contact Grant, who was visiting Michigan from his home in California.

It's unusual to see any Riviera of this era on the road now but the convertibles are really a rare sight outside of car shows. Here's some info I gathered from the internet:
From 1982 - 1985 Buick sold 220,197 Riviera coupes and 3898 convertibles.
The base price for the coupe (1982) was $14,468 and for the convertible -$24,064 - That's a huge difference!
One year ago I was on holiday in Nippon. These are some photo's of exactly one year ago.
Day five and my last full day during my first stint in Tokyo started with a visit to the Tokyo Motor Show.
Car shows around the world are in decline. The car show in my country, the Amsterdam AutoRAI, doesn't even exist anymore. Turin Motor Show? Gone! Some car shows, like Paris are now biennial. Reason is high costs and internet. Some brands find that they don't get enough attention at a car show and organize their own event, fly in some journalists and the next day it is all over the internet. More exposure, lower costs.
I think it is a pitty because it's just fun and convenient seeing all car brands with all their latest models in one place. All the latest Italian supercars, concepts, new technologies.
So a visit to the Tokyo Motor Show was pretty much a dream come true. I'm a fan of the Japanese car brands and it was great seeing cars that I don't know and which are not released in Europe.
