Custom poster... or book cover for L'Art Moderne from the Musee d'Orsay. Subtle lighting, colors and textures creating a classic vintage effect. The original "bowl of oranges" piece from an unknown "artiste"...captured on a restaurant wall. I added classic bust and golden rivets as well as shadow effects to complete. Looking forward to my next visit to d'Orsay - one of the most inspiring art museums in the world.
Note: L'Art Moderne was a Paris fine art publication from the 1800's. Interesting to consider how "modern" art was viewed in those times...

BN stellen 62 en 54 in oktober 2018 op de Buitenveldertselaan als lijn 51 onderweg naar CS.
In maart van het volgende jaar zouden de stellen hier verdwijnen waarna de Amstelveenlijn in anderhalf jaar werd omgebouwd tot "normale" tramlijn.
Sindsdien slijten zij hun laatste jaren op het metronet.

In april 2017 was voor de laatste maal kermis op de Dam: het werd té druk, vond de gemeente en schrapte de vergunning.
Een jaar later zou ook lijn 14 hier voorgoed verdwijnen....

De Plantage toont zich op z'n mooist in de herfst van 2015. Tijdens een geplande omleiding staan de 820 (lijn 16) en 819 (24) naast elkaar op het "Calamiteiten" eindpunt Plantage Parklaan. Lijn16 is niet meer, lijn 24 nog even ingekort tot Frederiksplein en de 12G Trapkarren zijn allen terzijde gesteld...

Le Ludwig Forum for International Art est un musée d'art moderne à Aix-la-Chapelle. Elle est basée sur la collection Ludwig Collection, qui a été réunie par le couple de collectionneurs d'Aix-la-Chapelle, Irene et Peter Ludwig.
Au printemps 1991, la collection Ludwig a déménagé de la Neue Galerie de l'Altes Kurhaus de la Komphausbadstraße vers l'ancien bâtiment de l'usine situé à l'angle de la Jülicher Straße et de la Lombardenstraße. Depuis lors, le musée s'appelle Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst. Le bâtiment a été conçu en 1928 par l’architecte aixois Josef Bachmann et abritait à l’origine la plus grande usine de parapluies d’Europe, la Schirmfabrik Emil Brauer. Aux heures de pointe, environ 10 000 parapluies étaient produits ici chaque jour et expédiés dans le monde entier.

The Ludwig Forum for International Art is a modern art museum in Aachen. It is based on the Ludwig Collection, which was brought together by the Aachen collector couple Irene and Peter Ludwig.
In the spring of 1991, the Ludwig Collection moved from the Neue Galerie in the Altes Kurhaus on Komphausbadstraße to the former factory building on the corner of Jülicher Straße and Lombardenstraße. Since then, the museum has been called Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst. The building was designed in 1928 by Aix-based architect Josef Bachmann and originally housed Europe's largest umbrella factory, Schirmfabrik Emil Brauer. At peak times, around 10,000 umbrellas were produced here every day and shipped around the world.
Typical features of the Bauhaus-style factory building and later the museum include the rounding of the corner boundary, the cladding of the reinforced concrete structure with yellow and red clinker bricks and the play with shapes basic geometric shapes, like the round window above. the old main entrance and the glass areas divided into rectangles.
