This is supposed to be like Warhol's Diamand Dust Shoes. See below.
I'm ashamed to even consider this against Warhol. And can't believe how hard this assignment was. I can't believe how hard the Art assignment was. I got so upset, frustrated, angry pissed, until I realized, that is was okay to take some liberties and perhaps move it into a modern context. Yes, I have 16 pairs of shoes, but they are not all high heal/stilettos like in Warhol's piece. Then, to get the feeling of color I just had to then funk it up in my own way. I don't know PS, so I couldn't even attempt to make individual shoes colorized. I just went with my gut. I was really pleased in the end. I like it a lot as a stand alone piece, although it is a little dark, me thinks.
