Because of construction works on the Woudhoek-branch of tramline 21 a shuttle bus ran between Station Schiedam Centrum and Woudhoek.

Table Lamp with Nightlight
1930s Art Moderne, Modernist, Machine Aesthetic Design. Could be attributed to designer Gilbert Rohde who designed lamps for this company in the 1930s.
He designed over 35 lamps for this company and many were not documented.
Chrome (or Nickle) Plated with a Cream-colored Milk Glass Center.
Original Cloth Cord. Original Bakelight? plastic On/Off switch for the nightlight.
Adjustable shade holder with original finial.
Dimensions: 20 inches to 21 1/2 inches high; 4 1/2 diameter at the base. 9 inches high to the top of the glass/chrome base.
Weight: About 3 pounds, 14 ounces on a Postal Scale.
Condition: Mint to Very Good. All original parts (except for the shape) appear intact and in working order, including the pull chains and switch. All lamp sockets are in working order. I have not tried to clean the chrome---appears to have some minor surface issues (see photographs). Heavy base has a dull, matte finish as opposed to the chrome, banded rings at the top and the bottom of the glass center section. Original cords and interior fittings. One interior area seems to have been covered in electrical tape for safety.

Das Bild zeigt einen Ausschnitt eines höchst interessanten Gebäudes der Fachhochschule Trier. Moderne Architektur trifft auf moderne Kunst. Ich emfpand es interessanter, nur ein Ausschnitt als das gesamte Gebäude festzuhalten, da dies meiner Meinung das Muster besser darstellt. Aufgenommen mit einer Nikon D5100, Nikkor 55-200 VR.
Je crois que ce genre de sujet n'a pas été exploité cette semaine !
J'aurais aimé voir davantage le "clavier" du téléphone, mais mon nombre de prise a été limité à la patience de mon "modèle" :)

An unusual experience was chattering with the mechanic of Le Garage Moderne. The former factory is situated in one of the former industrial areas in transformation into creative spaces.
Un esperienza un po straordinario é stato delle chiacchiere con il meccanico dello Garage Moderne di Bordeaux. Ci siamo in uno delle aree dello sviluppo urbano, dove si svolge rapporti professionali anche delle carattere creative.
You can see clearly how the designers tried to create a smooth line that flows from the bridge to the stern. The design was meant to allow the great liner to slide smoothly through the wind and make it one of the fastest and most economical of it's day. The design was dubbed Streamline Moderne and began showing up in all forms of design from architecture to everyday household items.
You can see that this is a flat-roofed Streamline Moderne house that was altered at a later time. The owners have added pitched roof additions on top of the original flat roofs.
Fra le tre pinacoteche, la Alte Pinakothek è dedicata alla pittura europea dal XIV al XVIII secolo. Infine la terza pinacoteca di Monaco, la Pinakothek der Moderne è, a livello mondiale, uno dei più grandi musei delle arti figurative del XX e del XXI secolo. Ha una superficie espositiva di oltre 12.000 m² e ospita notevoli collezioni di arte, grafica, architettura e design. L’edificio in sé vale giá una visita per il suo valore architettonico.
