IRON MASTER 3351 gross tons, 1,916 net, 6170 dwt. Lbd: 331' x 47'9" x 26'1". Steel, single screw steamship, "E class" built by Poole & Steele Ltd., Adelaide as the Eurimbla for the Australian Government's Commonwealth Government Liner of Steamers. Held triple expansion three cylinder engine (by shipbuilder) 516 nominal horsepower. Service speed of 10 knots. Crew 46. Was fitted with limited refrigeration. 3 December 1921 commissioned and 19 January 1922 arrived at Melbourne for drydocking and was her only voyage for the Commonwealth Liner of Steamers. Sold 9th November 1923 to BHP renamed Iron Master and registered at Melbourne. Serviced this concern's terminal ports in the products cargo service with more than her fair share of incidents. Had struck Corsair rock early in her career, damaged a propellor after striking submerged submarine in Williamstown dock Melbourne, and grounded herself off Bulli Head New South Wales 1942 in fog with subsequent damage requiring 72 new plates. A normal situation there would have her written off, but as there was a war going on repairs were deemed essential. Was converted to oil-firing 1927 but this was disengaged at a later date owing to the instability it caused to the delicate balance of the ship with her payload of iron and coal. May 1946 and October 1955 alterations made to accommodation and (1955) additional structure added to poop deck. Made a total of 384 voyages in 34 years with this Company. July 1957 sold to Cambray Prince Steamship Co Ltd, Hong Kong (J Manners & Co as managers) and handed over on 1st March 1958. April 1958 registered at Hong Kong with name of Tasman Breeze tentatively approved. Laid up until March 1959 when delivered to Shun Fung Ironworks Ltd., Hong Kong (a J Manners subsidiary) for scrapping purposes.

TEAM Adahi conquered the Yona Masters 14-6 to claim the gold medal in the 40-and-over Division in the 2011 Pacific Islanders' Masters
Baseball Tournament at Paseo Stadium in Hagåtña on Saturday night.
Adahi starting pitcher Vince Diego took the win, while Ken Rosario earned the save in relief. Yona's Patrick Fejeran took the loss.
Leading Adahi to the win at-bat, Stan Walton tallied four RBIs and Manny Aguon added three.
"It was a team effort. These guys are a really good bunch of guys," said Aguon after the game. "The goal was to just have fun and relax, and just focus on getting runs."
In the top of the first, Adahi's Russell Maratitas RBI singled and Jess Bamba hit a three-RBI double for an early 4-0 lead.
Adahi kept connecting for hits in the top of the third with an RBI double by Tim Dungca, followed by an RBI single by Manny Aguon which led the team to a commanding 6-0 lead.
Yona's Dave Fejeran broke the drought for the team in the bottom half, scoring on a passed ball, followed by Ben Quenga scoring a run on a fielder's choice for a 6-2 ball game.
In the fourth, Yona's Roman Beches came in on a passed ball, followed by Dave Afaisen coming in on a throwing error as the team cut the lead to 6-4.
Adahi later responded when Manny Aguon blasted a two-RBI single; Bamba hit an RBI single; and Stan Walton blasted a three-run in-the-park homer to extend their lead to 12-4 in the top of the fifth.
"We're just glad to win," said Walton. "We came out, we have a good group of guys and we just played ball and played hard as a team."
In the bottom half, Yona's Dave Afaisen smacked an RBI double to highlight a two-run team effort that cut their deficit to 12-6.
After a scoreless sixth, Adahi's Walton landed a standup RBI triple, while Franklin Ninete hit an RBI single to cement their 14-6 victory.
A lot of fun
The 40-and-over division saw five teams battle in two divisions for four games in round robin play, plus two cross-division games in the draw. Yona and Adahi had the most points in their divisions, advancing into the gold medal game. The second teams in each division played for bronze, won by the Tamuning Twins, who beat Silver finishers the Saipan Masters.
"This tournament has been great," emphasized Walton. "It gives a lot of us older guys somewhere to play ball and have fun."
In the 48-and-over division, Saina claimed the gold medal with an 8-3 win over Australian team the Wombats, who took silver. Tatamu took home the bronze.
"We were able to put together the 40-and-over and the 48-and-over divisions for the first time," said Guam Masters Baseball League President/Tournament Coordinator Dave Quitugua, noting it's a sign that the sport is growing again. "We had a lot more teams participate this year – we couldn't handle any additional teams."
"Who says Masters can't hang playing 7:30 a.m. in the morning every day until 1 a.m. and playing three days out of the week, with each team playing six to seven games a week?" touted Quitugua. "We got a lot of guys coming out, and these guys are in shape. I think we're going to have to do another league. In fact, the teams are asking for a summer league. ... We really want to get back to the glory days, where this stadium was filled to capacity."
PITCHED 28 INNINGS MOSTLY FOR ADAHI 48 BUT WON ONE GAME FOR ADAHI 40 AGAINST AGAT. ADAHI 48 PLAYED WELL AND AT ONE POINT WE THOUGHT WE'D BE IN THE GOLD MEDAL GAME BUT WOMBATS BEAT SAINA TO PUSH US TO THE BRONZE AND THE TATAMU BEAT US BAD AFTER WE BEAT THEM TWICE BY THE 10 RUN RULE EARLIER. PITCHED 10 INNINGS WED WITH 2 WINS AND 3 FOR 5 AT THE PLATE.

Now, this is a machine I can get nostalgic about! The BBC was a brilliant machine. When I started teaching Computing in the mid 1980s, this was the workhorse of many Computing Departments.
"The BBC Master was a home computer released by Acorn Computers in early 1986. It was designed and built for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and was the successor to the BBC Micro Model B. The Master 128 remained in production until 1993."

If you take a look through my stream you can see I am letting my creative mind flow. This photo is from a Single RAW file converted to JPEG in Dynamice HDR, I adjusted levels and colors tones and then cropped inPS. When I saw this lock I knew I had to have a photo of it, I have taken this photo about 12 or so times in the past. This time it was the one I was happy with.
Have a great DAY...
P.S. It snowed about 3" here last nite.

The master bedroom was to be large enough for the normal bedroom furniture as well as having a small seating area. The master bedroom also was to have a view of the courtyard.
