Queensland Pride issue 249, July 2008. I didn't intend for this to be the cover pic & story, but it worked out that way.

Master Mantis is the smallest of the Furious Five, but he is obviously the strongest proportional to his size. He can perform such feats as throwing Po and single-handedly holding up a severed rope bridge burdened by most of his comrades and Tai Lung. He is also a skilled acupuncturist, although he needed to familiarize himself with Po's obese body to treat him effectively.
Taken for active assignment weekly - animal kingdom. I was surprised to see a praying mantis on my chair.
WIT: Mantis are amazingly fast animals and it was difficult to get a shot of it standing still. Bumped up the ISO, added vignetting in post processing.
New version of the Master, as seen in season 3 of the new series. Hair's a bit too dark for my liking. I'd have preferred reddish brown, but oh well.

The master bedroom in the Kinney Earthship features a headboard made from wooden pallets and retro lamps. It is brightly lit by sunlight that comes in the front of the window covered (greenhouse) Earthship. One of my dark green Brickforge spartans. I wanted to take a shot with a black background and flashlight. I think ill use this as my new icon.

The all plastic Matchbox Renault Master Ambulance has made another appearance for 2015 with a more realistic looking livery and colour scheme. It appeared just once at my local Morrisons a few months ago but that was long enough for me to grab a handful! LOL. Plastic aside its a nice chunky looking well cast model with appropriate chrome disc wheels let down more by the complete lack of tampo treatment to either ends! Mint and boxed.
Wish I'd dusted before taking this picture.
Now, this is a machine I can get nostalgic about! The BBC was a brilliant machine. When I started teaching Computing in the mid 1980s, this was the workhorse of many Computing Departments.
"The BBC Master was a home computer released by Acorn Computers in early 1986. It was designed and built for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and was the successor to the BBC Micro Model B. The Master 128 remained in production until 1993."

"The View-Master system was introduced in 1939, four years after the advent of Kodachrome color film made the use of small high-quality photographic color images practical. Tourist attraction and travel views predominated in View-Master's early lists of available reels, most of which were meant to be interesting to users of all ages."

I wonder what happened to my childhood View-Master? I know I had a dozen Disney reels.
