In the late 50's and early 60's Channel Master radios were made by Sanyo (Japan). This radio was made in Taiwan, I'm guessing early or mid 70's. Unsure of the manufacturer.
I'm a fan of many of the transistor radios from the 1970's. After some pretty dull, rectangular radios in the mid to late 60's colour and shape made a big comeback in the era of platform shoes, over-sized lapels and polyester leisure suits.
Backing past an excited crowd of onlookers, Cass Scenic Railroad stablemates 2 and 5 will take a brief pause at the station before more parade runbys occur. Of note, Shay 2 holds the distinction of being the only locomotive of its type to burn all three major types of fuel: wood, oil, and coal. The last of which she burns today.
June 13, 2009 we are having a Rededication of our Lodge. Ten years ago our two Lodges merged to Form Paradise Valley Silver Trowel #29. The Charter Master of the new Lodge was hosting the event and he asked the last sitting Master of Silver Trowel #29 and the last (living) sitting Master of Paradise Valley #61 to speak on behalf of their respective Lodges. I'm the last sitting Master left from PV61 and my term was 1997. Looking at the men I was representing, the men who taught me and helped me and who should who should have been up there in my place was a very sobering experience. One that made me humble and yet proud at the same time. When I began my journey on Feb.16, 1972 I never thought it would lead here and beyond.

A master plan for the first Baptist Church in Kennesaw, Ga. This board was one of the first I did for CDH that really showed layering in the composition and layout of the graphics for presentation. The board is a simple layout but with the layering more information can be conveyed.

DCF77 Master Clock
Uses Arduino ATMEGA 328 IC, 1" Max2719 controlled 7 segment display with I2C 4x20 Yellow LCD information display.
Displays auto activated by PIR detector and auto brightness is set by LDR.
The DCF77 signal is decoded using the fantastic new DCF77 library written by Udo Klein.

3 strobes on stands, 1 in the far right Cnr through umbrella, another CR with defuser fired high into the ceiling and a little left and the 3rd in the ensuite pointing straight up with defuser.
Master bathroom with hand painted vanity, sink and mirror. I got the vanity for a great price at a 2nd hand store. Still have a little more painting to do on the door front.
