I got a new mask mold. This is the first test piece. The piece had some scratches (because I dropped it when it came out of the mold) so I just enhanced and incorporated them into the finished look. Kind of boring but, like I said, this is only a test.
molded on my face...this mask is made from old news papers. Behind the mask are some of my books in nursing..=)
I masked broad stripes and inked with sunshine yellow. stamped outline flowers over that. Removed the maskpaper and stamped the scattered dots. Finished with flowers and a little birdie told me.... (inside) you're special, happy birthday!

Look alive, sunshine!
This is a leather mask inspired by My Chemical Romance's album and universe, Danger Days - The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.
I used acrylic paint and freehanded the design. It's been distressed to look well worn. Just a bit of fun!

I thought if a drew a gas mask and took the negative colours it would give the sensation the the gas mask is alight with gas. I wanted to create an ironic image.
