Brenda's craft this week was to make animal masks. The kids did a great job of decorating their masks and they looked so cute wearing them!
Trent Kline, of U. South Carolina, fixes his mask. I was wondering why all his gear was this weird pale maroon color, when the Whitecaps colors are white and navy and teal, but I think it's because this is the Gamecocks team color and he's just using his gear from school.
... I don't have that great gift many wear in the morning everyday and remove when going to sleep at night :)
Facial Mask
The facial mask is the one of the important step in facials.
Generally the facial mask is used for the betterment of the facial skin.
There are some ways which makes your skin glowing and look younger, Actually facial mask is used for deep cleansing of the skin, it provides extra nourishment to the skin & tightens up your skin, opens the pores of your face, brighten and exfoliation to your skin.
Facial mask should be selected according to the skin type, Select your skin type mask and apply it with the help of brush, spread it evenly over your face, just leave the area of your eyes.
Some of masks and it's benefits for your skin:
1) Egg whites mask, it gives proteins ad nourishment to the skin.
2) Oat meal and yogurt mask: it helps in tightening as well as for the cleansing of the face skin.
3) White sugar mask: this mask has double action. It will exfoliate as well was it tighten the skin.
if your skin is dry than use oil in the mask instead of water.
4) Pumpkin mask: this mask is also very much useful for the skin rejuvenating and the pulp of the pumpkin is full of antioxidant.
i think the idea of using tattoos as a mask is really different. It can be very artistic and very colourful which could reflect on the person.
I named this mask Iridesses the Ice Queen. I made her for a local charity auction. I started with a plain white mask, painted it, added a handle, metal fan for a crown and embellished it with vintage jewelry and even gave her a throne to sit upon. The artists of Aburi, Ghana are famed for their wood carvings and masks. Unfortunately for them, Aburi is too far from the main tourist attractions in Accra. I wish they'd promote themselves better, put logos or seals of authenticity on their work, get on the internet for example, but I guess I'm the lucky recipient of their marketing ineptitude. Oh. well...
