Just dug these out of my computer when I realized I didn't have them on flickr yet. Might as well put them next to the other thanksgiving photos...
My version of it. A bit messy, though.
Just pan-fried chicken breast stuffed with thin slices of Champagne Ham and Light Pizza Cheese. Served with really creamy mashed potatoes and white wine+chicken stock sauce. Topped with parsley leaves.
Don't tell !!!! Hot beef sandwich made with chopped ribeye scraps. White bread and pan gravy with cornstarch, butter, liquid smoke and, a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
Smashed potatoes polluted with cream and too much butter.
Thanksgiving dinner - turkey, sweet potato bisque, mashed potatoes, corn bread dressing, Greek green beans, gravy, and cranberry relish
Sandra and Jason generously donated turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, spiced applesauce, and pumpkin pie for a feast at the office
Well what can we say....my family likes to eat at Luby's. If you ask Maddie what her favorite restaurant is she will say Luby's falls into the top 3. She gets the same thing everytime.....everytime the same thing....2 chicken legs, mashed potatoes with cream gravy and green beans. The shot for today is simply BE/AE - Before Eating and After Eating. She will sleep good tonight!

I had pork schnitzel topped with a delicious sauce of ham, garlic, pepper, and butter. The mashed potatoes were totally awesome. My entree was $10.95. I will definitely go back the next time I'm down there for work!
Steinert's Grill and Pub is in New Albany, Indiana (across the river from Louisville). They have a handful of German food on the menu, like schnitzel, sauerkraut, spatzel, and pastries.

Delicious. Evelyn's Favorite Pasta. This is actually just the leftover portion that I brought home for the hubby to eat tonight. I got the LUNCH portion, and it was still HUGE.
Mine: Shrimp & Grits, Petit syle. The shrimp passed inspection! And the grit cake was as good as Red Bar or Louis Louis!

Anyway, this was described as being a plate lunch, but it just didn't have that plate lunch feel to it =\ The food was really so-so, but we were pretty starved by this point so it didn't really matter.
We took our food outside (plus two beers, of course) and chilled and ate on the lounge chairs just beyond the pool area.
Brother (in blue gingham) and I went to Big John's after work tonight and it happened to be the 6th anniversary of its opening, so John was serving free food and beer. We've been loyal customers since John began serving food as a sideline in his small internet café on Thong Lor, so it was good to be there and John personally supplied us with hot chicken wings and sausages straight from the barbie.
Besides the best Aussie-style pies and mash in Bangkok, John serves innovative and delicious homemade sausages with Thai flava: green curry, chicken cashew ginger & spring onion, and massaman (pictured, on mash).
