Aaron Juergens* points to a location he mapped by GPS while trekking in East Asia. The IMB journeyman gathers information to guide local church leaders as they go out and share the Gospel. "We can equip them to go out and finish this task," Juergens says. "If they don't know where they are, they can't go."

Alexander Tindale. PhD student Alexander Tindale has used Census data to take a look at how far multiculturalism really goes – that is, how much are ‘typical Australians’ marrying or otherwise living with people from different backgrounds. The analysis shows that ideas of ethnic residential segregation don’t hold true once we look inside households and that we’re quite an eclectic bunch.

“I wouldn’t see it as a bad contract”, Charles Kaphwiyo, Director of Malawi’s Department of Mines, said of the controversial 2006 agreement between his government and Paladin Africa, “but there are areas for improvement.” Several NGOs, media outlets and even civil servants have criticised the government for failing to broker a better deal for Malawians with Kayelekera mine. “There are some things that we as government didn’t know that we accepted in the contract. But now we are learning.” Here he proudly shows us a 2011 map depicting all of the concessions out on Malawi’s resources – all to foreign-owned companies.
