House bound with manflu! Decided some still life would be a good idea. All the smoke and flames in this set are real. i.e. No Photoshop used.*

All square cropped as that is the size of the frame I have in the kitchen - If good enough, the favorite will be printed and displayed :-)

*Although I did use Photoshop for the usual adjustments to saturation, levels etc...

G'day food lovers

I'm now in the laryngitis phase of my ManFlu. I didn't feel like cooking so I heated up leftover sous vide duck breast and MEATER™ made chicken thigh cabbage laksa flavoured soup using microwave radiation.

The spiciness helped clear my nasal passages momentarily.

Ok so I have been well behind in uploading pictures the last two weeks but thats because i have had the manflu. Thats right the most terrible infliction known to man, women hear about it but cannot understand it :) men get it and moan about it. I have no voice because of it but i pushed myself to take the shots then i was too tired to upload them..

Here are some of them for ye hope ye like them.. the rest should be going up this evening or tomorrow, fingers crossed anyway.

So I was feeling ill last week, and with all the talk of swine-flu I went onto the NHS Direct website to see what they said. After asking me only 4 questions this was their suggestion...

Ducked up the hill to Bowral yesterday as the weather wes perfect.. Had a walk amongst the tulips and a Devonshire Tea at the CWA ..

Well that was yesterday ... came down with a pretty full on headcold last night - it's cold and blowing a gale out there today ...

Manflu is never good at the best of times ;-)

All taken with the Olympus OM-1 and M.Zuiko 40-150/2.8 Pro

Raw developed in DxO PhotoLab 7, colour graded in Nik 7 Color Efex, tweaked in Topaz AI-3 and finished off back in PhotoLab.

All except for 'St George' - that was raw stacked in Luminar Neo from an 8 frame stack, then colour graded in Nik 7 Color Efex etc ..

All the details in the exif's for those interested.

Woke up feeling worse than yesterday, although mentally I feel much sharper. What a big girl's blouse...HaHa!

For me, it was Christmas in the lakes, the snow was so bad I nearly had to abandoned my car, we walked five miles for a coffee and walked five miles back and I had manflu for weeks. Just don't ask Michele 'oneworldmj' about her winter memories, I know I had easy!!

Winter must be cold for those with no warm memories.

Only 7 hardcore riders turned up for the Rapha Club ride this morning and the rest of you really missed out. It stopped raining at 6 on the dot and within minutes the race capes were undone and flapping in the wind. #ccsydney
