An eight-page feature on the future of nuclear power plants. We commissioned Bryan Christie Design to create eight infographics of possible reactor designs, and I worked with editors in researching, organizing and designing the report under three main categories.

In the older, more sentimental days of advertising, this type of tykes-caught-with-the-cookie-jar pitch must have struck some sort of chord, because pictures of food-smeared kids were everywhere. Now, not so much. Come to think of it, baking powder ads are pretty scarce as well.
The wedding invite/pricetag and cupcake toppers set the tone for this piece on throwing a wedding in these tough economic times.

We’ve got to admire Heinz – they’ll do anything: offer any nutty cooking suggestion, kidnap any unwary foodstuff. “Blushing Apples’ – really? This is an innocent baked apple anointed with ketchup and then dunked in more sugar and water. Fiendish. Bizarre. But we’re impressed.
