This is my color palette in soft colors and metallic threads from Sulky.
I took inspiration from some of the beautiful colors found in the sunsets from our back porch.......

It's on the quilt it's to match. ABC Embroidery M. Modern circle quilting most won't consider the best match for an heirloom style monogram, but I like it and it's for me :-)
Present for my mother. I also added content of common sewing tools/notions. (she wished that one, she say that her sewing things just disappears) (I made the bag by scratch)
The design was purchased from a embroidery design site, stitched with normal sewing threads.

i have a mum outline i embroider frequently and wanted a mum filled so i digitized this design and put it on the hip of my pants. does the design draw attention to not-so-tiny hips? don't answer that. :)

Detail of machine embroidered flash card for And stitches back to school stitchalong. Picture of my eldest son using shadows. Stitched with Sylko machine thread (36 weight) on to a linen canvas, which was then mounted on to a coarser linen canvas backed with woven iron on interfacing. This flash card is part of a pair, the other one being of his younger brother.

Two Urban Threads designs combined here. I modified the skull by adding some black mesh where the eyes and nose are.
I wanted to add more to this sweatshirt on the sleeves and front, but I ran out of purple. :(
