Graffiti covered storefronts on Northern Boulevard in Queens, NY. Taken one year ago during lockdown 2020. #lockdownphotojournal
It has been a long week with the lockdown since March 17.
Found this old photo taken at Charles Schultz Museum. This mural, designed by Yoshiteru Otani, is composed of 3,588 ceramic tiles or about 10 years worth of Peanuts daily strips published between 1956 and 1988. Otani hand-selected each strip to compose a secondary scene of Lucy holding a football for Charlie Brown.
Stay safe, stay healthy.
The capture of a Lockdown Rainbow is much easier than flashing Christmas Lights in the 10minutes after sunset, but hell are we paying a price for these stunning comments by the citizens locked away to protect us all form the Coronavirus.
I would much prefer to have now rainbows and no Coronavirus.

Newport Pagnell and a familiar sight now eating places can only offer takeaways...I trust her sarnie was was worth waiting for and she didn’t forget Fido...
I was out in the garden last night. The nearby trees aren't sufficiently distant to allow a sharp moon and silhouettes so this has to be another lockdown compromise.
With lockdowns beginning to ease, a nod to the folk who have maitained the stocks of our supermarket shelves through these difficult times.

Lockdown in the garden. A flowering Cherry tree in bloom signalling that spring is here and carrying on as normal. Nature does lift your spirits.
This was the recent anti lockdown protest on Saturday. It was reported about twenty people were arrested including Piers Corbyn, Jeremy’s brother.
There were about a dozen of police mounted horses, 15-20 police vans and approximately 200 police officers handling a small group of protesters.
As I was about to call it a day suddenly there was a commotion. Police officers rushed to the scene from all corners. This was wrestling with police officers on the ground shouting in pain. Four police officers held him to the ground. There were about a dozen officers forming a couple of rings including a police mounted horse.
This man was held down for sometime before he was carried away which I will post the photo later.
The protesters and people who were enjoying the park at Speakers’ Corner were dispersed. This is actually a place for people to air their views. Perhaps, it has hit the nerve somewhere.....🤔ðŸ’
Thank you for viewing. If you like please fav and leave a nice comment. Hope to see you here again. Have a wonderful day 😊
