For my research page I drew monument, it is architecture of Paris. I like collecting miniature things because that reminds the place I visited, although I have never been to Paris, this monument I borrowed from my cousin and never gave it back. I decided to drew it because I found some detailing in it and played with black and white colour to take an idea that this pattern will look on the garment. I also feel that drawing from it makes up for me keeping it from my cousin.

With masks on their faces, the elderly are seen taking strolls in the street of Istanbul, enjoying Sunday's sunny weather, while everyone else is under curfew orders. Turkey allowed citizens above 65 and those with chronic diseases to go for a five-hour outing every Saturday after almost two months of lockdown.

Food shops were allowed to stay open during the lockdowns but with very careful rules about social distancing, hand sanitiser and mask. .As the Co-op was a samll shop, there was a restriction on numbers and queues formed outside - one out then one in.

An expression of my experience of Covid 19, lockdowns and living with the virus. The random pattern highlights the random succession of events throughout this time.
The black closing in around the edges of the blue are reflective of the entrapment Covid has had on our lives. The small patches of white throughout the canvas express the 'light at the end of the tunnel'.
