I stopped for a few shots of the local Sandhill Crane family on the way to the marsh last Sunday, as usual they were very cooperative, this will probably be the last series of the year for these birds since they will soon be heading south, what an thrill and an honor to watch a family like this grow over the course of a season, this is why I love wildlife photography, and will continue as long as I'm able.

Le programme de développement local transfrontalier (PDLT) du PNUD, avec l’appui financier de l’UE, vise donc aussi à harmoniser et équilibrer les relations commerciales à la frontière Nord entre Haïti et la RD. Aujourd’hui, seul Dajabón possède un bâtiment adapté à la tenue d’un grand marché. Le PDLT espère voir aussi, la construction d’un bâtiment de même facture commencer fin 2015 du côté haïtien, à Ouanaminthe, afin d’équilibrer les transits de personnes et de marchandises à la frontière.
