I was able to go to Guinea-Bissau in 2005, a small country in West Africa. I worked in the capital city as well as a small island of the coast of the country. It was such an incredible place. I fell in love with the people!
A shot of one of the local streets in Paris. Tight, narrow, and almost impossible to navigate without a proper GPS device. I still like the streets outside of the tourist spots because you can find some of the best coffee houses and boutiques.
(YES, I finally have access to my Paris pictures, but it'll take some time to upload them all.)
The prices are low, but I'm told so is the quality. Things like clothes, bags, shoes and such are set out on blanket, where as the food seem to be in more vender-style stalls.
I've been wanting to post a shot of this marsh area that I was happy with for over a year.
Not sure why this one finally worked for me. Maybe its the extra wide perspective i was able to achieve at 17mm with my new lens...I wish it wasnt a vertical shot, but not sure it would have worked as a wide landscape shot.
Post processing was odd on this one: Very little was done. Two contrast curves. One right after another. Both exactly the same. Some selective color on the sky and then a very very tiny bit of sharpening. USM 34,.3,0.
