TECALI(del náhuatl:teti,piedra y calli,casa)fue,en la epoca
Prehispánica,uno de los pueblos mas importantes de la nobleza
tolteca-chichimeca, a la que perteneció el afamado Ce Acatl
Topiltzin Quetzalcóatl, a quien alguna vez estuvo aquí.
Por su importancia , los franciscanos establecieron en este lugar su convento
En 1540, mismo que fue concluido en 1569.
Sus proporciones majestuosas y sus caracteristicas arquitectonicas renacentistas
Dejan ver la mano de alarifes famosos como Claudio Arciniega.
Al erigirse la parroquia secular,los religiosos tuvieron conflictos con el obispo de Puebla , por lo que decidieron abandonar el edificio en 1643.
Debidamente consolidado,permanece como un vestigio ejemplar que muestra la grandeza de las empresas constructivas del Siglo XVI.
El Gran recinto es de plamta basilical,es decir, presenta tres naves separadas por las columnatas,con arcos de medio punto y columnas muy esbeltas de orden toscano,absolutamente renacentistas,tipicas del siglo XVI.
Solo quedan huellas del coro,especialmente el arco transversal y los huecos o mechinales donde empotraban las vigas.
La techumbre era una complicada armadura de dos aguas,construida con gigantescas vigas y recubierta de tejas de barro;por dentro cuanta con artesonados de elegantes deseños decorativos.
Lamentablemente fue desmantelada alrededor de 1920 para usar la madera en un ruedo taurino.
Site of the former railway station at Boorowa, now a public park. There is a surviving culvert and the line of the former tracks can be seen. The station was the terminus of the branch line from Galong, which mainly carried produce. Taken in 2018.

They're small, but they're oh so good. I never buy the standard import peaches at the grocery store, because they're always picked hard, and usually rot instead of ripen.

Bang Pa-In Royal Palace (Thai: พระราชวังบางปะอิน), also known as the Summer Palace, is a palace complex formerly used by the Thai kings as a summer dwelling. The palace is located on the Chao Phraya River bank in Bang Pa-In district, Ayutthaya Province
King Prasat Thong originally constructed the complex in 1632, and though it lay empty and overgrown throughout the late 18th and early 19th century, King Mongkut began to restore the site in the mid-1800s. Most of the present buildings were constructed between 1872 and 1889 by King Chulalongkorn.
The facilities include vast gardens and landscaping, Wehart Chamrunt (Heavenly Light), a Chinese-style royal palace and throne room; the Warophat Phiman (Excellent and Shining Heavenly Abode), a royal residence; Ho Withun Thasana (Sages' Lookout), a brightly-painted lookout tower; and the Aisawan Thiphya-Art (Divine Seat of Personal Freedom), a pavilion constructed in the middle of a pond.
The palace remains largely open to visitors, as King Bhumibol Adulyadej and his family use it only rarely for banquets and special occasions.

Unrenumbered former BN SD40-2 #8013 has just arrived at Springfield with the East Local - M-SPMSPM. The East Local is a turn job that works the Cuba Sub as far as necessary (possibly Dixon). This is an off day for the South Local and an example of the power utilization for the jobs around Springfield.
