Acre Made in Amazonia nasce dalla collaborazione tra lo Stato di Acre, l'istituto di formazione Dom Moacyr e SEDENS, con il supporto di SEBRAE, CNI, BID e FIEAC, e POLI.design, Consorzio del Politecnico di Milano, con l'obiettivo di creare un Sistema Design legato al territorio, alla sua identità culturale e al suo sviluppo industriale.
I concept delle diverse linee della collezione "Acre, Made in Amazonia" sono stati elaborati all'interno di un processo di formazione che ha coinvolto studenti della facoltà di architettura, artisti e artigiani del legno. Insieme hanno identificato le diverse anime delle cultura locale ed elaborato una “grammatica visuale acreana” che è stata poi di ispirazione nella progettazione dei mobili e nella loro comunicazione.
Il marchio “Acre, Made in Amazonia”, creato dal governo acreano, riunisce diverse imprese che hanno partecipato al progetto e vuole essere il primo seme di uno sviluppo produttivo dell'Amazzonia, sostenibile sia in senso ambientale sia soprattutto sociale.

Found this local wildlife at the Headlands State Park. I think its some kind of frog like creature. It seemed a unique way to frame the sunrise on this fine morning.
Item #4 monthly scavenger "local billboard". I didn't realize we had so many but I chose this one because it is at the bottom of a mountain side.
There are a few smaller mountains in my area, suitable for hiking and hunting small game - deer.
