A Ortisei vivono i Moroder, 2 fratelli gnomonisti che hanno realizzato numerose meridiane in giro per la val Gardena, fra le quali questa meridiana equatoriale sferica di 2 metri di diametro. Indica il tempo medio dell'Europa Centrale, l'ora vera locale e di altre 60 città del mondo.
Segna inoltre equinozi e solstizi e i segni zodiacali.
I've been wanting to post a shot of this marsh area that I was happy with for over a year.
Not sure why this one finally worked for me. Maybe its the extra wide perspective i was able to achieve at 17mm with my new lens...I wish it wasnt a vertical shot, but not sure it would have worked as a wide landscape shot.
Post processing was odd on this one: Very little was done. Two contrast curves. One right after another. Both exactly the same. Some selective color on the sky and then a very very tiny bit of sharpening. USM 34,.3,0.
