Seneviratne and Prof. Dr. Noah Diffenbaugh offer to shed light on the gravity of the situation and provide potential solutions? Join us as we delve into the pressing issue of climate change in California and its profound effects on society.
Prof. Dr. Sonia I. Seneviratne from ETH Zurich and Prof. Dr. Noah Diffenbaugh from Stanford University's Doerr School of Sustainability will be presenting their work and personal research projects on Global Warming, taking first a global perspective and then diving into the local effects we have all witnessed in the past few years.

Taken near Richmond upon Thames College - in Twickenham (near me) Winter 2010, when there was heavy snow (6 inches deep here). Possibly the last time for many years - been 5-6 years of snow-less winters since. See pics 6 years later showing no snow around this postbox... (also in early January).
Local families participated in the Give Kids a Smile Day event at the College of DuPage Dental Hygiene Clinic. The clinic provided free cleanings, school forms, exams and x-rays for school-aged children.
