This is a scraplift of LINARstudio's Day 12 layout.
For those of you who aren't LSU fans, there is actually a REAL tiger named Mike, but he's hard to get a photo of because he is spoiled rotten and has a nicer house than I do...and even if you do see him, it's hard to get a photo because of the glass. Funny story I want to share, though you might not care--he used to have a much smaller habitat in which the outside portion was basically a cage inside a cage (Dawn, I know you know what I'm talking about.) On our first date, my (future) husband took me there, and they were cleaning in between the cages and the "cleaner" let us go in and pet Mike through the bars, and as Michael reached in to pet him, Mike the Tiger sneezed and I just about jumped out of my skin! Four months later he took me back there and proposed to me... so Mike has a special place in our hearts and now in my kids, too! I only wish I'd taken a photo, but I guess that would have been kind of weird on a first date. :)

Airman 1st Class Quionjay Jackson and Senior Airman Thomas Schultz discuss the next procedure to accomplish on their F-16 Fighting Falcon during the annual weapons load crew of the year competition Feb. 14, 2014, at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. (U.S. Air Force photo by Samuel King Jr./Released)
The load might be easy (think its an Orbiter style ride??) but its a hard life on the gaf for this old Foden 4000!! Flashback to summer 2014 for the Bradford Festival fair.
This is a modified HO scale heavy duty Volvo wheel loader fork lift made by Cararama. It was originally a front end loader with a bucket. The bucket was removed and the fork mechanism from a container lift was added. The unit is detailed and weathered
When I saw katieplus4's layout: www.flickr.com/photos/katieplus4/4347021262/ I knew it would be perfect for my girls. I love the colors she used and had to scraplift the button heart. Products: Pebbles Inc. paper, MemoryWorks Simple Stories letter stickers, Heidi Swapp edge distresser, assorted buttons, brown Memory Marker
I did a 22 mile charity walk the other week and discovered this old Bray. Everybody had a good laugh as I explained that one of the first things I learnt to drive, as a 12 year old, was a Bray just like this, I took a quick photo with my phone and had to get going. It had been an awful wet and windy walk over the Pennines, Jaynes mum (72) had got lost and I had to go looking for her, she and her new companions had found the route so all was well and we had a laugh.
I was amazed to find this Bray, we had ours around 1970 and kept it for a long long time, it was second hand to us so I don't know the age. I did notice the first letter of the reg' plate was missing - just like ours! When I looked at the photos of ours on Flickr, www.flickr.com/photos/70373000@N04/6430596517/in/photolis... after I had resprayed it around 1980, I realized that it was our old one . It was a couple of days after when I checked it out - I couldn't believe it - what a coincidence.
The exhaust had been modified and it was yellow again, albeit faded, I could have sworn that we had scrapped it after years loading salt but obviously not.
The Ford six cylinder had to have a new topend on a regular basis and we had torque convertor problems. It was an absolute pig to drive on the road with rear wheel steer that was just a nightmare - you zig-zagged everywhere.

The Loader Droid is a 4 armed robot that carries cargo to the spaceships. It has 98 brick pieces and it's part of my LL-5000 set.
rather than do an actual self portrait today, I took an idea from Brenda Arnall's blog brendaarnall.typepad.com/its_a_new_day/. I even shamelessly scraplifted her layout. I like this idea so well that I may do it every month or so.
Every human carries immense load over his head. Some are seen, some unseen. Some maybe photographed, some...you just have to understand. So whether it is seen or unseen; one has to survive with these overloads, willingly or unwillingly...
