《芝加哥七人案：驚世審判》講述一個我完全陌生的議題「文化革命對決政治審判」
觀賞起來卻也諷刺無比，宛如今日的香港
政府的打壓或是隱瞞，引爆民眾的分裂
那一場場的抗爭也始終是為了控訴這些位高權重的政府官員
除了是表現對當前司法體系的反骨，也是贏得所有在場觀眾掌聲對軍官們的尊敬
劇中穿插著真實事件的歷史影像，對應著 1968 年真正發生的流血暴力衝突以及遭暗中操盤的政治審判，使得在混亂的抗爭場面中，亦能同時感受到遭受警方圍剿的惶恐與手足無措，且在肅穆的法庭審判中，能體會到那種坐立難安與心力交瘁的感受，恍若正站在人群裡見證革命的興起以及改變世界的力量
身為一個現代公民，這是個赤裸的教科書與政治指南

I hope you get to spend your day in whatever way suits you today, though that is not always possible. But if there's anyone who knows that better than a mother, I don't know who it would be. Mothers know that life is about making do with what you have.. about making lemonade out of lemons.. about snatching the good out of a bad day, and making everyone around them the better for it. They are the ones who teach us all the most important life lessons, so if today isn't your perfect imagined "Mother's Day" - just remember what your mother would have told you.. And if it is - remember what your mother would have told you about that too...

So two guy are kayak fishing at Lake Hefner, the wind is blowing to the SSW at 34mph with 37 gusts, and they are coming sideways between the waves, when a speed boat takes off, creates a wake and then the wind and waves cause these two to flip. Lesson one, Always where a lifejacket(PFD). Make sure it fits properly and that you know what to do. Lesson Two-Learn to get back into your kayak. Lesson Three- If the kayak is forcing you under, let the damn thing go- Is that $2,690 piece of plastic worth your life? Lesson Four- If you are yelling for HELP when in the water, that will cause me to call 911 and they will come. Lesson Five- Listen to me when I give you directions, this could save your life. I said let that damn boat go, it is forcing you under, causing you to drown! Lesson Six, after you are out of the water, It is not polite to yell at the people that were trying to save you! Yes, I had time to take these pictures, but you had time to let your boat go and swim to safety. Your friend on the other hand went under a couple times, he is damn lucky to be with us today!
Cesar Chavez has greatly affected the way we live, by not only giving rights to migrant farm workers but also by teaching us important life lessons to live by, such as… “Yes, you can”, “everyone deserves fair treatment”, “never give up” and “everyone achieves more working together.” When I was in second grade I learned about Cesar Chavez and was immediately fascinated and amazed by his story. Though every year I learn more and more details about him; the principals he stood for remain the same and are just as important. It is utterly amazing that people, who at that time barely had any authority, grouped together to make change.
My picture is a timeline of Cesar Chavez’s life. I think to truly understand the lessons he showed, you need to know his story. My picture represents all the times that were, in my opinion, important. The part that takes place in Arizona is Cesar and his family and at the end of the timeline there is Cesar and his family as an adult: this symbolizes a happy ending and the reward of putting a lot of effort into making a difference. The other parts of the timeline are the important parts of the Migrant Farm Workers Association; they represent the steps, time and effort it all takes to make a difference.

We went camping for a few days- the dogs had a blast. Running, and playing, and swimming, and exploring. My camera got a workout. ;)
It was great to spend a few days just being- relaxing, hanging out, visiting with family, and enjoying the stuff we take for granted. I live in some pretty amazing country. Sitting back and really looking at it made me appreciate it even more!
