A friend of mine just moved into the Grand Mecure apartments in Darling Harbour.
The view from the roof was too good to pass up a photo op - so here is one I snapped up the other night just after twilight. Was an awesome night for a few long exposures.

A wet Lichfield Trent Valley on 23rd November 2023, courtesy of Storm Bert, as former West Midlands Trains, now Northern, Class 323 No. 323203 passes while working 5H70 1718 Allerton Depot - Wolverton Centre Sidings. it about to pass beneath the high level platform where, on days of old, it would have stood on too numerous occasions to mention while working a Birmingham Cross City Line service. Rob Class 66, of this parish, alerted me to this working as I had turned up for a passing kettle, and I am pleased to say that he once again plays a starring role in the picture!!
