Photos I took using an old Nikon F801 with 50mm f/1.8D lens, just testing the camera's functions.

The first of many photos from our Mad Men New Years Eve party, which was AWESOME and so much fun :D I barely made it through after Scott's eggnog was served, and many photos are blurry (damn you eggnog!) but what a great way to start the year--surrounded by my snappily dressed, drunk friends. :D
My very well used and very loved Nikon D70.
The Flash no longer pops up ( I taped it down and then it fell off) it has no Lcd read out on top of Camera, buts thats ok I can set most things on the menu and other things when connected to a Computer.
This Camera has never let me down and has been with me everywhere.
I use Nikkor Ais glass and guess the meter settings.
It has a Homemade lens hood which came from a Konica wide angle lens and I welded it to a filter ring to fit the nikkor.
Looks a bit like a Leica lens hood?

After 12 long and challenging exams, a fun and exciting part in my theatre groups production of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat', a slip in routine, a nice but brief holiday with 3 of my friends to Mablethorpe and a new creation of healthy lifestyle and exercise routines, I'm finally back! Fully inspired, completely raring to go with this new 365 that hopefully for once in my life I'll stick to! I'm on a weight loss (more of a lifestyle/toning) mission and I've never been as happy as I am now!

This came as a set, and it is like new!
Revuenon 1.4/55 lens on the camera, and the additional Revuenon-Special 2.8/35 and 2.8/135.
As back-up there is the Revue S-130 lightmeter, the set is complete with all booklets, lenscaps and Revuetron AC32 flash (not in picture).

Measuring in at no more than 3 inches & hovering for no more than 1 second at a time, photographing one of the magnificent birds was not an easy task. With fading light and frustration building, I decided to up my ISO, pick my spot, wait and hope. I was finally rewarded with this lovely portrait. Cracking!

All my gear - some of which I collected throughout the year and some of which I've had for years...the only things not pictured are my spare D300 and my 18-55 VR.
Yes, I have a lot at the 200mm focal length, but those are used by my photogs at horse shows. The 70-210 is for sale if anyone is interested!

I sat and watched this family of Hyenas one morning for about 20 minutes, and was lucky enough to have them all to my self. They were not particularly active, but the light was fantastic so it was worth sticking with them. Out of the bushveld appeared a young cub who briefly interacted with an adult before continuing on out of sight. This moment made my day. The Hyenas were soon up and away, leaving me with a great big smile on my face.

The front of the Heliar Hyper Wide is rather pronounced - no filter facility as they would cause vignetting. The lens cap slides over the "tulip" hood and stays securely in place. Usually I discard lens caps - or in case of the spring loaded ones - they discard themselves!. But with the 10 mm I carefully put the cap one when the lens is not in use - way too easy to bump that front glass.
My favorite lens has a new sidekick for when size and weight are an issue, I shaved the rear lenscap to loose another 7mm's to make it even more pocketable :)

CHRISTMAS TREE BOKEH!
December 25, 2009: the day I was born again.
My Nikon is my new best friend, the perfect accessory that never goes out of style. I have so far and will for the rest of eternity take my camera everywhere possible with me. Call it obsessive, call it whatever you want, but baby I AM in love.
<3 This was the first decent picture I ever took and I am OH SO PROUD (:

2/366 Prompt for the 365 project today was "One Word". Also thought this was appropriate because I am resolving to take the lens cap off more often.
