Did anyone see my lenscap?

The setup shot for Fizz.

Lighting, as you can see, provided by a single 580EX II at 1/4 power and 105mm triggered by Pocket Wizards into a 24" Lastolite EzyBox Hotshoe softbox, directly overhead on a boom.

You can see some setup shots for other images here.

The Elikon 35 CM (Эликон 35СМ) is a viewfinder camera made by BeLomo (Belarus Optical & Mechanical Association) in the early nineties. Its fixed lens is the Industar 95 (38/2). In this series of 11 photos I show you how this lens was removed from the camera and converted to Leica-M mount so that I can use it with a Leica-M to E-mount helicoid adapter.

Lately I have been neglecting my most loved hobby: photography.

SE Portland @ The Cellar Door. Portabello at night (delightful Vegan restaurant).

I was pleasantly surprised to see a Canon center-pinch lens cap. I always buy an aftermarket center-pinch lens cap because they are easier to get on and off, and they attach more securely than the standard side-pinch Canon lens caps.

An article online indicates the Canon center-pinch lens caps only became available in February 2013.

bored during orientation. kinda looks like a gang sign how i'm holding it...lol

This came as a set, and it is like new!

Revuenon 1.4/55 lens on the camera, and the additional Revuenon-Special 2.8/35 and 2.8/135.

As back-up there is the Revue S-130 lightmeter, the set is complete with all booklets, lenscaps and Revuetron AC32 flash (not in picture).

Finally took my Canon FTb QL for a spin today. Also took some pics of it. :)

Initially my husband was holding the wine glass for me to take a picture against the flowers and the blue sky, for the Collaborative Diptych week in the group 52.5 of 2010, but after 5 minutes I had to resort to other means. It was Susan's idea to tilt the glass by sitting it on a lens cap.

I decided to do one, since I never have. it's nothing interesting. what's in yours? ;)

here ya go!

Different shot that yesterday. Once I posted the other one I realized I wasn't ready to get back to the school work at hand, so I opened another one and played around. Eventually I scapped what I had, played Diyosa's action... and wa-la!

Tools of creativity. I have just finished college and will be working to save money for Inter-railing through Europe next summer I am hoping to motivate friends to come along as well. It will be great to expand my horizons and will be the first time I have travelled outside of the UK alone. So apart from earning money for travels I want this year to be about creativity I am starting to read books more and want to carry this on (love the "Into The Wild" film so got the book too, so far a great read). I want to play more music (I barely touch my guitars now-a-days), draw and sketch for fun again (no college pressure!). Also carry on taking photos (with this project to hopefully motivate me!). Haven't taken any photos this month and wanted to try this project for a while.

garrett took over ;)

the photos come out better when it's not on the camera.

Yeah, it's true...

I was really trying to figure out what to do for this FGR challenge, and my first SP of the night involved a completely black photo, 'cause my lenscap was on. :-D

People are gathering around the newly unveiled monument to the Victims of the Smolensk Plane Crash. In fact a large part of the Polish society believes it is the Monument to the Victims of the Smolensk Attack (due to a Polish-Russian plot) (sic!).

There are parts of Amsterdam that looks like you are in Venice. This scene of Amsterdam gives you a view behind the houses of the Red Light District. On the left you can see some of the red light coming out of the windows, reflecting on the house on the other side.

My #1 homegirl and her husband came over to visit our apartment for the first time and brought me a birthday gift. :-) She knows I love purses/handbags, and the wallet is a perfect all-in-one job. It's a little tight to carry a DSLR (but it is cushiony!) so it'll be good for daytrips when I know I'll just have my camera out anyway. :-D
