The sky was more filled with clouds than it had been for the last few sunsets. The varying conditions of course make every sunset look a bit different. Even though I often take photos from the same spots the shots don't come out the same way.

We were on the western edge of this storm in my area. Temperatures remained high enough for the roads to be good. The snow was wet and there was slush on the ground.
The views were great both up-close and afar.

This is a simple shot of the woods behind where I live. The snow seemed to cover everything just right.
I adjusted the color tones differently than usual, for something slightly different.

I was admiring the blue sky on St. Patrick's Day weekend. It was hard to believe winter is ending, it seemed too mild for here. Soon the landscapes will look more full and vibrant.

I dropped by here on the way home from work, as I often do. I replaced the sky in Photoshop for fun. This sky seemed to fit the scene perfectly.

It was easier to drive and hike without snow. The scenery was a bit lacking as a result, though. The strong flow of the falls became the primary attraction for the day.

I got myself to stop in at Buttermilk when out running errands. There was more water than I expected and the park was empty.

I was fortunate to see the sunset from a good spot again. My schedule worked out well for it and it wasn't too cold or stormy. The nice colors and sun pillar made this one special.

Quiet, natural places like this are so important. Its a convenient location for me to get to as well. It was great to stop by after a period of big weather changes and life events.

It was getting dark quickly and the clouds were filling up the sky. The subdued light and colors of the sunset were appealing. With even colder air moving in I wonder if I'll even want to take photos in the coming days.

I dressed about as warm as I could, the wind made it feel near zero degrees. When out for errands I stopped only to get this scene. I'll wait for a warmer day and for more time to take more photos.

I was enjoying the sunset from indoors. Instead of stepping out onto a patio I figured I'd get a photo through a window. The reflections became an added element I hadn't factored in.

I was on the way to see family, with a long day ahead. Still, I had to stop to take this photo. It seemed that sunset conditions lasted for the entire morning. The cloud conditions played a part in that.

I added this picture a few days ago and then deleted it because I decided I didn't like it. But then after I looked at it a couple of times, it started to grow on me!
Today I wasn't having a very good day, and when I came home my mom had made my favourite soup and bought me a bunch of flowers! I love my mom =)
I really appreciate the comments and favourites I received lately! You all are so encouraging, thank you, thank you, thank you! =)

These 2 consecutive pics are of same landscape nearby my place in Irving.
I wonder how nature looks beautiful in its every form.
This sunset was from Thanksgiving weekend. It seems the time between then and the end of the year is always a blur. We force too much into those weeks and consistently pack ourselves into crowded places. Stepping out into a location like this was a much needed breather.

A single tree stands tall by the roadside in Niittykumpu, Espoo, Finland. Stripped bare for the winter, holding space between the traffic and the fields. Spring will come, but for now, the cold remains.
Kyongbok Palace or the "Palace of Shining Happiness" was beautifully restored and many buildings had just been painted, with some yet to receive their new facelift. Quite an excellent opportunity to see some of Korea's best, restored history. It cost 700 Korean Won (less than $1) to enter.
The weather has been damp and dreary. Holiday decorations are everywhere. Its also the time of year I like to do abandoned photography. Leaves don't hide the structures and objects, giving a better view.

This was the day I tested out my new Canon camera at ISO80 for the first time. A couple of the big deciduous trees on the right, which were struggling, have since been chopped down and replaced with native eucalypts. The facade of the Origin Energy building has been remodelled and work on repainting the Elder Rotunda began in 2014
I noticed lower level clouds were moving rapidly. They were not like this at the other locations I had just been to. I got the long exposure shot the best I could before the conditions changed.

I didn't stop on my earlier pass by this spot. I had things that needed to be done first. On the way back the sunlight was strongly shining into the creek bed. The effects with the mist were astonishing.

I like this view and its a favorite spot of mine. The trail going to other overlooks was closed. A sign stated that parking won't be available for a few months as well. I'll look into accessing the spot from another place, likely on the Cornell campus.

The Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (formerly, The Stock Exchange, Mumbai; popularly called The Bombay Stock Exchange, or BSE) is the oldest stock exchange in Asia. It is located at Dalal Street, Mumbai, India. It was constructed by LnT.
The building is synonymous with Mumbai and the area where its located has an energy that is matched by no other place i have ever been to. It had been rocked by a bomb blast in 1992, but the structure stood still!
I went down on my knees to get the complete building. Right now the stock markets are going thru a tough period, courtesy Inflation. wanted to capture that aspect, so composed the image along with the branches barging into the frame.
