The Isuzu Panther was a popular commercial van or rural MUV (Multi Utility Vehicle) and competed with the Toyota Zace and Mitsubishi Freeca. Commercial vans used to have stickers by law showing the license plate and number of passengers it can seat (two in this case).

The Lake Superior & Mississippi Railroad returned to service after a three year absence on July 29, 2023. The tracks the train uses were removed in 2020-2022 near the site of USS Steel's plant in Morgan Park as part of a pollution remediation project. The 20203 season kicked off with a new locomotive borrowed from the Wisconsin Great Northern but tastefully lettered LS&M.

LS&I 3073 and 3074 lead a 7 Tilden all rail to the mine after CN dropped the cars off the night before
Due to the hilly nature of Lisbon you get lots of vantage points. This view from a bridge reminds me of some of LS Lowrys works.
Awaiting movement to FRV/GBW, RSD15 2402 sits recently stored at Eagle Mills, MI on 6/20/89. ex ATSF 9841, ex ATSF 841; retired, to FRVR (GBW) 2407 11/1989; retired 8/27/93, to Illinois Railway Museum.

Two rare sights -a red LS and an on the X99! 121 eventually became one of three at NS converted to operate on the Mobility Bus routes. I probably drove it several times as we used them on the 449 (later 649) or 499 when desperate. It ended up at Jersey Airport.
